The 4 episodes that had the black & white opening scenes were titled as follows: Episode 1 – Seven Thirty-Seven Episode 4 – Down Episode 10 – Over Episode 13 – ABQ (Airport Identifier for Albuquerque Airport) When you put them together, they read as: 737 Down Over Albuquerque Interesting foreshadowing. 😊

Enter Mike Ehrmantraut played by the phenomenal Jonathan Banks. Some people bash on S2 but I’ll never understand why. It expands the groundwork laid out by S1 and the reveal of the plane incident was so insane.

Andrea Bertetti

I hope you absolutely enjoy Jonathan Banks' character, Mike Ehrmantraut. He's my favorite character from both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.

A couple things I never picked up. 1) Walt's picture going up right under the "Wanted" sign briefly. 2) A couple episodes ago, Walt showing Marie to tip the baby sideways for her nap in case she spits up. :-O

Giancarlo Esposito and Jonathan Banks have been around for a long time. They've been in many famous movies. But these characters are what they will forever be known for (and likely why they were on Community). Esposito has been acting so long, he, Tom Cruise and Sean Penn played teenagers in a movie released in 1981 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQe97mKu10k . He was also in Trading Places https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WMErc1n6Ks and, of course, The Usual Suspects. Banks was in Airplane! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7jtcCERJYE , Beverly Hills Cop https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=veEGo6yo-F4 and Gremlins.

If you ever decide to watch Stark Trek: The Next Generation you’ll recognize Jane’s dad in the very first episode

Imagine all of the jaws of everyone involved with BrBa finding out what the pool scenes have led up to dropping at the same time!!! That secret is on the level of keeping Grogu a secret until ep 1

To fully go over how crazy the sequence of events are here: Walt stops at a random bar and gets chatting (unknowingly) with Jane's dad. Jane's dad gives general advice about never giving up on family. Walt, considering Jesse family-like, takes the man's advice; and his commitment to helping Jesse is to remove the obstacle that was dragging him further down - Jane. Jane's dad's friendly advice to a stranger lead to that man indirectly killing his daughter that very night. And then Donald (Jane's dad), being under stress & grief from his daughter's death negligently allows to planes to collide... And imagine how Walt would feel too, if he realised who the bar stranger actually is and the cascade of events that took place from that conversation. John De Lancie who plays Jane's dad has some of the best heartbroken eyes I've ever seen. His expressions in the bar are absolutely tragic.

Blind Entertainment

This was definitely a crazy finale. I was somewhat expecting Walt to come clean. I was with you, I was totally expecting a drug raid/bust. The twist though was great, and the fact that it ties back to Jane’s dad is was great too!

Get ready to meet the twins in the next season lol.

Daymee

Yo, I never made that connection, that's awesome.

Walt didn't just let Jane die to protect Jesse, he also did it to protect himself. She was a liabilty.

LaserLamb

Walt's letting Jane die ultimately contributed to 2 planes crashing, killing dozens of people. Yah, well done, Walt.😒 It just goes to show one can never know the repercussions of one's actions.

Joe Blankenship

Just think, if the US had universal healthcare, we wouldn't have such a great show like Breaking Bad.

LaserLamb

Walt would still want to leave alot of money for his family anyway. He wasn't just trying to pay the doctor bills.

LaserLamb

I found very little to compain about in this series, but this is one complaint: When the debris started to fall from the crash, ALL we see or hear falling near Walt's house is the bear toy. There should've been plenty other stuff coming down all around. It made no sense. Maybe the only way to do it would be CGI, & they didn't have the budget for it?

Andrew Roach

Wow, thanks for sharing that epic info!

Andrew Roach

If Jane's dad had forced her to go to rehab right away, as was his original intent, she would have lived. And yes, if you were a Star Trek The Next Generation fan you would not just recognize Jane's dad as being a recurring character on that show but a beloved iconic character.

Addie please do a search and read about the crash of Aeromexico Flight 498. It happened in 1986. It will blow your mind.
