Help me choose an Alfred Hitchcock movie to watch next! I've already watched Psycho and Rear Window on the channel :) I have a lot of content already planned for August, so this reaction will be up in a couple of weeks!

I sincerely hope you check out Billy Wilder as well!

Adrian Duenas

All of the above!!!! But my top picks are North by Northwest, The Birds, Rebecca, and Shadow of a Doubt (Hitchcock’s personal fav)

Alex Tan

Happy Tuesday, Addie. All are great choices but Vertigo (1958) has my top vote.

The Dude Abides

No Psycho? Or have you seen that already?

Adrian Duenas

She reacted to it a few years ago, it’s under the Horror/Thriller playlist

Steven Fordham

Watch Vertigo, then watch Mel Brooks parody, High Anxiety

Jon Anderson

All good choices, but North by Northwest is a banger.

John W Foster

I actually can't vote in this poll because I love all these movies, but one more for consideration in a future poll. Hitchcock directed a comedy called The Trouble with Harry (1955).

Blind Entertainment

All great choices, but gonna go with Strangers on a Train!

Robert da Spruce

Not really my jam. So I think I’ll sit this one out Enjoy everyone!

Luis Fernandez

The Birds is one of the most disturbing movies I've ever seen and I love every minute of it. (I have a bit of a bird phobia so it really creeps me out!)

Randee Carreno

Happy Tuesday, Addie! 😊 "North By Northwest" got my main vote for this one. With "The Birds" as my second choice. Those happen to be my two favorite Hitchcock films. Have a great day today! 😊

Doug

It’s not going to win but Strangers on a Train is my personal favorite Hitchcock film. 👍 Of the two that are currently winning, I think I’d go with North by Northwest over The Birds.

Matt

Hitchcock was a real crook bloke, but at least To Catch a Thief is a fun heist.

Joe Blankenship

The Birds is one I've still not seen yet. Although I have seen Birdemic, so.

Norman

Yes, it would be awesome if she checked out Sunset Blvd, Some Like It Hot, Double Indemnity and The Apartment. (Alfred Hitchcock particularly expressed appreciation for Double Indemnity and The Apartment.)

Philip Lastica

I would do North by Northwest first, then Rebecca

Norman

North by Northwest is really fun. I'm not sure if you've seen any Cary Grant films on your channel, but he is considered one of the greatest stars in Hollywood history. North by Northwest is the most Cary Grant-ish film ever made. North by Northwest's other star, Eva Marie Saint, celebrated her 102nd birthday on the 4th of July. Watch it while she's still with us!

Jose Almeida

You should know that Mel Brooks did a movie that spoofed Hitchcocks best cinematic moments called “High Anxiety” but make sure to be well versed in Hitchcock cinema first so you’ll get all the references!

Philip Davetas

Hey, Addie, I chose THE BIRDS even though I'm a huge Grace Kelly fan, but is there a chance you can put down the pipe and talk BRAND NEW DAY? Probably the best SPIDER-M'N if all-time.

axr714

I’d also add Ace In The Hole and Stalag 17 as well.

Jason Weiner

Hitchcock was coolish when there wasn't much else. Today, mostly if not completely skippable.

Franco V.

I'm surprised North by Northwest is winning over Vertigo and The Birds. Addie you must be happy, a non horror movie is winning 😄

EmAtinyDragon

I believe that watching The Birds as a kid caused my irrational bird phobia.

Alexander George

Took vote away from "The Birds". My recommendation Addie is to have "The Birds" as one of your horror films you select this October. .. Depends on you though since as of 8/22 -- 250pm EST its a tie at 21% for both North by Northwest & The Birds. ... literally 1 vote separates the two ... I imagine though that will change depending on how soon you close the poll. My votes are ultimately for NORTH BY NORTHWEST & DIAL M FOR MURDER now.
