No pizzas were harmed during the making of this episode 🍕

Philip Davetas

Ooooh. Gettin' juicy now with all the closeness.

Philip Davetas

Oh, was this the episode where he threw it on the roof?

Addie, wanna know a fun fact about this episode? The iconic pizza toss was a complete accident! Bryan Cranston nailed the difficult, unscripted throw perfectly on his first try. The crew had budgeted hours and prepared over 20 backup pizzas, expecting it to take dozens of takes. 😂🤣

Mexico Tint = Addie-o’s Hair Color Coincidence???

Any word on when we'll start Ted Lasso season 4? Looks like all 10 episodes will be out by Oct. 7.

Max Hassam

Well it definitely was scripted, otherwise they wouldn't have bought 20 backups. But he did nail it first try!

Jesse using the money he made from the basement meth lab to buy the house off his parents while getting a massive discount on it because it had a meth lab in the basement is hilarious, and brilliant writing. Ouija boards were invented as a board game. The supernatural connotation was started by The Exorcist! Until then, people of that generation could well have played the Ouija game, as bizarre as it sounds. Jonathan Banks' character has not been named yet but it's not a spoiler. His name is Mike. Funnily enough, his character was only written in as an emergency. Saul was meant to be the one who cleaned Jesse's apartment up but Bob Odenkirk was filming HIMYM at the time. Mike is a brilliant addition to this show. Mike did meet Walt after tracking Jesse to the heroin den in the finale, so Walt would've recognised him as Saul's man. And remember when Saul said he knows a guy who knows a guy about Gus?... Well it seems like Mike is THAT guy if he's got a direct line to Gus' crew.

When I think back through the 1st 2 seasons, I wondered when Walt could have left this Methamphetamine business with no lasting consequences. He obviously could have stopped after killing Emilo and Krazy-8. He could have taken the money from Elliot and Gretchen, received the treatment and had the surgery with no one the wiser. Then there are the dealings with Tuco. Had he quit after Tuco attacked Jessie, same result. Walt could have realized this life is too dangerous, left it all behind and called Elliott back to accept the offer. The point when it became too late, was the decision to continue with Tuco. When Tuco was killed by Hank, there was no getting out of it now. Walt, aka Heisenberg, had the attention of the Cartel. Even if Walt quit after the "Fugue" state and had not cooked the 38 pounds he sold to Gus, (thus gaining his protection) the 2 hitmen would have killed Walt, and possibly his family (assuming Skyler's revelation never took place). We already know the Jane consequences. What a Tangled Web!

On a tangent I saw America in concert last November, they started it out with clips of all the times their music was played in TV shows and films and this episode was one of them ("Horse With No Name" is featured a few times😄.) It's also apparently according to the band's lead singer Dewey Bunnell his favorite time one of his songs was featured in a TV show or movie. P.S. If you're a Friends fan, that's also the song that plays in the episode when Joey gets stranded in the desert because a film he was expecting to star in got cancelled at the last minute. 😉

I won't be able to start it until sometime in September!

Jonathan Banks’ character helped Walt find Jesse when he was mourning Jane so Walt and his character have interacted before, but not much.
