It’s almost time for this month’s Q&A! Ask a question, any question! I try to answer as many questions as I can, but please note that I may not answer every question.

Frequently Asked Questions:

“Have you watched _____?”

Check out my Letterboxd account below to see the full list of every movie I’ve watched! This includes movies I watched on the channel and movies I’ve watched in my own time. If you recommend a movie in the comments on this post, I’ll take note of it, but I may not address it in the Q&A.

https://letterboxd.com/addiecounts/films/

“Do you have a P.O. Box?”

I do not!

“Do you play video games?”

I don’t play video games often, but I enjoy cozy games like Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, and Dreamlight Valley. :)

“Have you considered starting a gaming channel or a channel specifically for shows?”

Not at this time! I edit my videos, so I don’t have any extra time for a second channel.

“Have you considered starting a music reaction channel?”

Music is the fastest way to get a copyright claim on YouTube, so I’m not interested in making a channel for music reactions. That seems like a lot of editing work just for every video to get a copyright claim!

“Why are you afraid of snakes?”

I’m honestly not sure! I’ve been afraid of them for as long as I can remember.

I pretty sure it’s not your type of game Addie, but with GTA VI coming in November, any thoughts on a Miami themed movie poll (Scarface, Bad Boys, etc.)to maybe catch a little of the hype? GTA is known to draw inspiration from movies, heck they did a Die Hard in the last trailer.

How would you rank these horror icons in terms of scare factor: Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Ghostface, and Jack Torrance from The Shining

2026-10-17 06:00 Hi Addie, for my totally-optional-movie/poll suggestion this month, I'm going with "Team Richmond Movie Night". These are all films that were referenced on Ted Lasso that you haven't seen yet. This is FAR from a complete list, there are a huge number of movie references on the show. I also left out the musicals since I'm 99% sure you've probably already seen virtually every musical referenced. Also below are episode references for the curious (thanks, Ted Lasso Movie References Letterboxd page!): - One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) (1x09) ted: coach, you are a natural-born caregiver. like chief from cuckoo's nest coach: i was always more of a taber guy - The Color of Money (1986) (1x06) ted: i don't know about curses. but i do know this, they don't last forever. okay, look at the boston red sox curse. that's over. chicago cubs, over. heck, even mr. martin scorsese finally won his oscar. but i think we can all agree that the departed is not necessarily his best work. that belongs to The Color of Money - Hoosiers (1986) (3x01) roy: so i finally watched it. coach beard: uhummm roy: i liked it coach: hm roy: gene hackman was good coach: uhummmm roy: the drunk geezer coach: hmmmm roy: stuff with the team coach: hm roy: i did have one question. coach: yeah, what's that? roy: why the fuck it is called hoosiers? coach: ah. - Showgirls (1995) (2x05) roy: was that all right? ted: that was great roy: too many fucks? ted: i don't know. kinda like all the nipples in that movie, showgirls. halfway through, you don't even notice anymore. you just get sucked into the narrative roy: i dated gina gershon once ted: that makes me so happy - You've Got Mail (1998) (3x11) basically the whole team crying while watching the movie including roy kent!!!!!!!!!!! - Magnolia (1999) (2x01) ted: you suffered an unlikely and tragic coincidence. not too dissimilar from those seen throughout paul thomas anderson's 1999 opus, magnolia dani: is that tom cruise with a little, tiny ponytail? - Bridget Jone's Diary (2001) (1x08) ted: hey, i wonder if they've ever seen the movie bridget jones's dairy. sorry, that's not my breast milk pun. i can do better. - Bend It Like Beckham (2002) (1x01) journalist: i mean, can you even name any footballers? ted: well, yeah, you got ronaldo and the fellow that bends it like himself jeremy: fucking beckham! made a film on it! - Miracle (2004) (1x10) ted: now, where i'm from, we got a saying too, yeah? a question, actually. ''do you believe in miracles?'' (...) nathan: is that miracle thing from a movie or real life? coach: both - Once (2007) (2x04) ted: i love the buskers y'all got over here. always reminds me of that movie once. you ever see that? rebecca: yeah, great film ted: yeah. yeah, i loved once so much i saw it twice

If she does more Hitchcock my vote is Strangers on a Train. (It's even been referenced in one or two things she's watched on the channel.)😊

Lanny Stanfield

Would you be able to watch Schitt's Creek at some point?

Doug

Out of curiosity, of the biggest streaming services (Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, Netflix, Paramount Plus), which do you think is your favorite in terms of how much you like their movies or shows in general?

Angus Casey

What advice would you give to someone who is thinking about doing movie reactions?

Adrian Duenas

We all know how you feel about horror movies, but do feel the same way when it comes to horror novels? Would you ever read Stephen King or books like Dracula and Frankenstein?

The Dude Abides

Are you a fan of pumpkin pie or other pumpkin-derived foods or drinks?

drew

now that you have watched carrie what frustrated you the most about it between either her mother using god's good name to justify abuse or the bullies whilling to commit crimes to get back at her

I know you and 🎬✧˖°🎞️⊱𝓒𝓪𝓶𝓲𝓵𝓵𝓪⊰≽^•˕•^≼, are both mutual creators I support and are friendly acquaintances it seems IRL. So that being the case, have you heard of Reactr.tv and would you ever do custom reactions? Never seen you post or emoji a kindly response to anyone's comments, is that a time limitation or another proclivity choice of yours? Do you read your community posts? What drives you to make a reaction for something? Does it need to be current in the mainstream or are things that unconventional, perhaps niche something you'd try? You've done animated works. What are your thoughts on anime reactions? Have you heard of these conventional horror movies, would you put them on future polls? Candyman, Misery, SAW, They Live, Trilogy of Terror, The Howling, Event Horizon, Pandorum, My Bloody Valentine? I'll post more as they come to me!

Have you ever met a celebrity who has been in a movie, musical, and/or tv show? If you have, what was it like to meet them?

Abraham Blea

When watching Carrie, you mentioned you haven't felt that tense in along time. What other movies made you feel that way?

Franco V.

Hi Addie. I have some Original/Remake recommendations. Comparing different versions or approaches to the same story could be an interesting exercise. Here are some suggestions of great movies with remakes that are as good or even better than the original. (Not including some remakes you've already watched like 'The Departed' or 'The Thing'... but you should watch the original versions of those movies someday. They're great too) -King Kong (1933) / King Kong (2005) -Scarface (1932) / Scarface (1983) -The Fly (1958) / The Fly (1986) -Cape Fear (1962) / Cape Fear (1991) -The Girl with The Dragon Tatoo (2009) / The Girl with The Dragon Tatoo (2011) -Invasion of The Body Snatchers (1956) / Invasion of The Body Snatchers (1978) -Dawn of The Dead (1978) / Dawn of The Dead (2004)

Is there a scary movie that you simply will not watch under any circumstances?

StonedTrunks

If you had a green lantern ring which allows you to create hard light constructs of whatever you can imagine what would you use it the most for?

Grant

What is your favourite flavour of ice cream?

AJ

Ello JL_83, Lemme help you on this one, so you can ask something else you might want to know as I did ask this in the August Q&A. The link is at the timestamp that °❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・ ̰ ̰𝓐̰𝓭̰𝓭̰𝓲̰𝓮̰ ̰ °❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・ talks about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=1424&v=Al_30f7s1jQ Though, she doesn't elaborate about the show at all mind you.

Larka11037

Who would you say is the most courageous and dangerous female protagonist in all the movies you have seen?

Larka11037

Who do you feel is the best supporting character to a protagonist out of all the movies you have seen so far?

Joe Blankenship

If you could sing any song right now, what would it be? And how would it go?

2026-10-18 11:00 What’s your favorite Halloween memory, and costume from your childhood? Would you rather spend Halloween with the jackass crew, and engage with their shenanigans, or spend the day with a live snake? Would you do like a family comedy movie poll, or Thanksgiving movie poll for Thanksgiving?

Hello Addie! What are your thoughts on finishing the Lethal Weapon movies?

Charles Green

Hi Addie how are you doing ? Watching all these horror movies, have they desensitized you from the violence ?

JL_83

Thanks!

Vash

After watching Spider-Man: BND, would you be open to continue watching Daredevil? You'd get more of Frank's backstory as well as continuing one of the best live action Marvel shows. I know you were hesitant because you were worried you would need to watch all the defender shows, but they aren't needed for the Neflix version of Daredevil (minus the first few seconds of S3 that picks up from Defenders).

2026-10-18 11:00 Have you ever encountered a time (or more) where you felt like some movie or TV show arrived at just the right time and spoke to your mood at the time (like you felt like it soothed you when you needed it the most, or similar)? I had that happen multiple times for me with the new version of SENSE AND SENSIBILITY (2026) being the most recent.

Is there anybody you discuss movies with to help you process the movie? Movies like Apocalypse Now, No Country For Old Men, Watchmen, etc.

JAKH

Since you have watched all of the "Game of Thrones", did you know that the author has stated in interviews that his inspiration was the classic historical drama "The Lion In Winter" (1968)

JAKH

And did you know that there is a spoof "Loaded Weapon 1" (1993) to be watched anytime after "Lethal Weapon 3" starring Emilio Estavez, Samuel L. Jackson, William Shatner, Kathy Ireland, and Tim Curry (RIP)?

Adrian Duenas

Would you consider doing a film noir poll next month in honor of Noirvember? Some good options are the following: Double Indemnity Sunset Boulevard The Maltese Falcon Laura Leave Her to Heaven Hitchcock’s Shadow of a Doubt

Philip Davetas

I don't want to ask anything Just a statement. Pamela Vorhees up in this motherfucker. Linda Cardellina is the bomb. #CrystalLake.
