Yay Trick 'r Treat! You'll like it Addie, it really is on the mild side.

Franco V.

Trick 'r Treat is not that scary Addie. You'll like it.

Steve SG-1

I never met any celebrities but I saw Sylvester Stallone sitting court side at a Raptors game.

Omg Addie’s having her own Breaking Bad moment with that dang fly lol 🪰

Yay! I am so excited for you to see my favorite horror movie! I watched it when I was in grade school and it still continues to be my favorite movie to watch on Halloween.

Happy Monday, Addie! 😊 Thank you for another great monthly Q&A. Looking forward to watching "Trick r Treat" for the monthly "spinning wheel" movie. It'll be a first time watch for me as well. Have a great day today! 😊

Joe Cross

I’m dressing as Oliver from Buddy… maybe next October you’ll understand the reference 😉

Franco V.

Did you read 'Holly'?... You need to read all the books where Holly Gibney appears starting with 'Mr. Mercedes'. She's a great character. And all the books are mostly thrillers with elements of horror and supernatural.

Thanks for the Q&A as always, Addie! Some random follow-ups: - As far as Thanksgiving movies go, I don't think there are a ton that you've missed but one that comes to mind is Hannah and her Sisters (1986). It's a Woody Allen comedy-drama that involves family Thanksgiving dinners. It was one of Woody Allen's most successful films at the box office and won Academy Awards for Best Original Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Supporting Actress. - Agatha All Along and Visionquest are both really good MCU shows (at least so far, Visionquest is still mid-release as I type this but it's been fun.) My other MCU suggestion that I think you'd like is Wonder Man, it was surprisingly good! - Regarding niche movies, the Spinny Wheel serves that purpose I think. Almost all the Spinny Wheel suggestions are ones that wouldn't have won a poll but that someone liked enough to put it on the wheel. I do think it's nice having that spin at least once a month just to sort of break out of the poll comfort zone and get something a little more unusual. (Sure, I never win the spin personally, but hope springs eternal! 😄)

Doug

Buddy was definitely one of the weirder films this year! Pretty good though. 😊

Addie I think the Jackass crew would be very nice to you and not prank you too hard. Speaking of which, when do we get more of you watching Jackass? 😂

Doug

On the tangent of Stephen King novels, I think one of my favorite bits from his books was in Misery. For reference, part of the plot of that book is the main character is an author writing a novel on a manual typewriter, but unfortunately at some point the letter N breaks, so he ends up have to write down the letter N in pencil in every word that uses it. And as he continues, the letters T and eventually E also break, so he's having to write those in as well. So in the actual book Misery, in the chapters where we get to read the novel the character is writing, the font of those letters is changed to look like someone handwrote them in. 😄 It was a neat little aesthetic touch that helped you appreciate just how annoying it must have been writing down all those stupid missing letters.

Happy Monday, Addie. Thank you for answering my questions. I have nothing to say here except to congratulate @Larka11037 for their suggestion for Trick 'r Treat (2007) winning the spinning wheel.

Franco V.

Addie there's a thriller/mystery author that I recommend you, her name's Jennifer Hillier. I've read a couple of her books and loved them. There's one titled "Jar of Hearts" that is great. You should check it out.

Blind Entertainment

It’s Breaking Bad Monday, so of course Walt sent you a fly to drive you crazy!
