Here's the full length reaction to Episode 14 ("Objects in Space") of Firefly! I'm very glad there's a movie to watch next, but WE DESERVE MORE EPISODES! There's still so much I want to see from these characters, and you can only fit so much in a two hour movie to wrap things up :( Enjoy!

Let's give Addie a round of applause for completing Firefly. 👏👏 Happy Monday. I plan on watching all episodes & Serenity (2005) in November.

We got a tiny glimpse of what River sees, hears, and senses. Some of it she was born with and, I’m guessing, some she was manipulated to learn. Poor thing. One thing this series didn’t need was that specific situation. I wish it was never written down. I understand your wanting to watch Serenity immediately and also wanting to delay it. Like YOU said, “WE deserve more episodes!” You don’t have to watch Serenity to be one. In my opinion, Addie, you are now officially one of us. YOU ARE A BROWN COAT!!! Since Ollie was around from time to time, he is too!

Yes, it would have been nice to get more episodes and explore some of the show's plot threads in more detail. But I've gone through the stages of grief with this show, and have reached acceptance. I'm grateful we have these episodes, that we can watch them in the proper order, including three that never made it to air. I'm grateful that they got to make the Serenity theatrical film, which I don't want to spoil and which could never tie up EVERY storyline, but I believe it makes for a satisfactory conclusion to the part of these characters' lives that we got to be a part of. Addie, I can't wait to watch Serenity with you :)

Thanks for a wonderful reaction video to the final episode of "Firefly". I liked "Objects in Space" a lot because Joss Whedon wrote a very scary character in Jubal Early. The first thing I saw with Adam Baldwin (Jayne) was a coming of age movie called, "My Bodyguard" (1980). A nerdy kid goes to a new high school and is immediately singled out by a small group of bullies, and they are relentless. Everyone in school is too afraid to stand up to them so the kid enlists the aid of someone that everyone in the school avoids - Ricky Linderman (Adam Baldwin).

Now that you have finished Firefly, will you put the poll from Aug 31 back up, minus Firefly of course, so we can pick another series from that list for you to react to next? Just curious if you are planning on watching some more of the series from that list, hoping to get to Arcane at some point.

I seem to recall Joan wearing braces (orthodontic) in the movie and a young Jennifer Beals years before "Flashdance" as one of the friends, too. Both are from Chicago. Can't recall if the movie was shot there.

Book and Inara have probably the biggest "post Serenity" reveals, so we'll address that after the movie. Edit: Just to clarify, this is not a spoiler for anything about the movie. Years after everything finished they went back and did some comics and novels looking into the unexplored histories of the characters.

That was a "like" for the edit content, not the initial post.

aww, I have to wait a whole week until the movie.

I would LOVE an "Arcane" reaction. I think it's one of the most well-written shows in years. And, because I'm a cruel and horrible person, I would love to see Addie react to "The Haunting of Hill House," the Netflix series. But since she's not into scary, I'll completely understand if she chooses never to watch it. But if you set aside the creepy elements, it really is SO well-written as well.

If Mal had better locks on Serenity, the show would've only lasted about 6-8 episodes.

I am glad you loved it so much... and welcome to the pain a lot of us have been feeling since the series was cancelled. Not sure if you are aware, but Nathan and Alan started a podcast which has been pretty entertaining. They have had some of the crew on as well.
