My favorite film of all time 🙌

MattyK

Hyped to watch this one

Happy Monday, Addie. I'm so glad that you enjoyed The Departed (2006). I own this movie on DVD in both Widescreen (2.39:1) & Full-Screen (1.33:1) formats and I plan on watching it at some point this weekend.

Randee Carreno

Happy Monday, Addie! 😊 This is one of my top favorite Leonardo DiCaprio movies next to "Titanic", and one of my favorite Martin Scorsese directed films. This movie has such a great storyline, and a stacked cast of great actors. Definitely planning to watch this reaction this afternoon. Have a great day today! 😊

At this point, you might as well do the final 3 from that poll: "Casino" (another great Martin Scorsese movie) "Goodfellas" (yet ANOTHER great Scorsese movie, and based on another crazy true story) "Scarface" (An iconic Al Pacino role, a total 180 degrees from how you saw him in "The Godfather". The only reason it got the least votes is because it's the lesser popular great movie on a list of great movies.) "The Godfather Part 2" (lol, I know this wasn't on the poll but you have to see it since it's even better than part 1-- and you liked part 1.) You won't be disappointed. I promise. ✋😊 Don Corleone: "Luca, go out there and talk to that girl.., what's her name?" Luca Brassi: "Addie." Don Corleone: "Yeah, her. Get her to react to all the movies from the gangster poll. Make her an offer."

I don't always get the films I like but always keep an open mind and try something new. I would not normally go for this kind of film but really enjoyed. Thank you Addie 😘

Steve Mercier

Well...shit. Okay, then. Fucking-A. Let's do this!

Steve SG-1

I think it's good to spread out the sequels. I think you can better appreciate them that ways.

Luis Fernandez

I already mentioned this some time back but this film is based on the Hong Kong film series Infernal Affairs. I think the first Infernal Affairs (2002) is the better movie, so I'll recommend you check that one out.

Another Matt Damon Movie that I would love to see you watch soon is The Bourne Identity (2002) and another Mark Wahlberg movie that I would also love to see you watch soon is The Italian Job (2003). #More2000sPureActionMoviesForAddieCounts

Mister Lou

great reaction! and betwixt us, I'm betting the baby is Leo's!

Todd Joseph

THIS movie is why I signed up for Netflix. It was sold-out at Blockbuster. “Wait…What? DVD’s through the mail? No way! So futuristic!” History is fun. 🙂

Billy Dancel

I did see this when it came out because of the huge cast. Imagine the long game in the fact that Costello likely prepped Sullivan all his life to be a cop and then be his rat from then on. Billy 👍 probably joined to break the cycle of his family’s history of crime. Only to be portrayed as criminal to get in good graces with Costello. This is far better than what I remembered. I did enjoy it but watched it just once. I’m going to create a new playlist. Every time you start bopping to a tune I’ll Add(ie) it on. I got two from here.

Julian San

Lmao it was worth watching the reaction just to see the incredulity by The Crimson Countess at the end at all the headshots 😂

Julian San

Btw, the original Hong Kong film which this movie is based on, Infernal Affairs, is incredibly good too and you’d be shocked at how much of a shot for shot remake it is.

Alex Tan

It's auburn, which is a variant of red. That's why Julian San calls her the Crimson Countess.

Alex Tan

Another one I would throw in is Courage Under Fire (1996) with Denzel Washington & Meg Ryan and Stuck On You (2003). #MoreMattDamonForAddieCounts
