My vote won't stick. What's going on?!

Joel Vijay

My vote won't stick either

Joel Vijay

That's not working either.

Alex Tan

Happy Tuesday, Addie. My votes go for Troy (2004), 300 (2006) & Dunkirk (2017). (IMPORTANT) If Troy wins this poll, please watch the 2007 DIRECTOR'S CUT.

Alex Tan

I think Patreon is having some glitches.

Alex Tan

Try opening the web version. It works.

Alex Tan

I tried voting on the web version on my phone and it worked.

Philip Davetas

The only one I like on this list is FURY.

Alex Tan

Let's make Dunkirk (2017) & 300 (2006) tie each other so that Addie watches both movies.

Billy Dancel

I like a lot of these, starting the year off strong. I’m voting for one in particular because the others have plenty.

Randee Carreno

Happy Tuesday, Addie! 😊 All great choices for this poll. I voted for "Dunkirk" mainly because that's the only one on this list that I have yet to see. Have a great day today! 😊

Alex Tan

I would love to see Addie watch the 2019 Final Cut of Apocalypse Now (1979) & Stanley Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket (1987) soon.

The Dingo

300 isn't worth it, IMO. If that wins, I hope you all enjoy it though I'll pass. :)

ButtercupsTrueLove

It depends upon the subscriber base. Other reaction channels lean towards different films entirely, with few popular films or TV series. But the more obscure or specialty channels also don't have many subscribers. EDIT: We all have a choice to subscribe or not. We can nominate the films we'd like to see a reaction for, but if our fellow subscribers don't see it our way then...

Alex Tan

I second Dunkirk (2017). I do hope it's a runner-up to 300 (2006). #DunkirkForAddieCounts

Alex Tan

@ButtercupsTrueLove Hear, hear.

Doug

I voted for Troy, 300, or 1917. I'm a little surprised more people didn't vote for 1917, it's got to be one of the most impressively shot and edited films I've ever seen!

PHILLIP CORNISH

Think you got to take rough with the smooth. I hate Animation, Cartoons, MCU and now Disney own 20th Century they going to cartoon and series 10 seasons out of all the greats just to milk what they can out of there IP and feed there streaming service, Zzzzzz lol. But I find Addie does a fair mix for all, even if I have some dead months. She has put some greats up of late. I voted for “Fury” Why? A great film that evokes emotions that Addie is not afraid of showing. I think sharing the emotions with someone you don’t know personally is a very powerful tool. Im sure she will post something you like in time.

Greg S.

My picks are Master and Commander and 300.

Alex Tan

Somehow Addie seems more drawn to sci-fi, fantasy, comics and animation, all of which often makes up a huge majority of the movies that have been requested to her. Of course I don't blame her for that. However, there are several movies that I like that Popcorn In Bed & Mary Cherry have already seen that Addie hasn't seen yet. So I've been suggesting those movies to her as well. That's the reason why I'm hoping that she explores other kinds of movies as well.

Luis Fernandez

Voted for Master and Commander. I am kinda rooting for Fury, I haven't seen it since it came out and I don't really remember most of it, so a rewatch might be nice.

Alex Tan

NEW OBJECTIVE: Let's make Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003), Troy (2004), 300 (2006) & Dunkirk (2017) tie each other so that Addie watches ALL FOUR movies.

PHILLIP CORNISH

Used to follow Popcorn in bed and Cassie and her sister are great but i hate it when Reactors talk to much miss important parts of the film then question what they just missed and hold unrelated chat then decide to have a meal during a reaction. Hence I just follow on YT now. I'm a big fan of "Days of Thunder" and there reaction to that is mint.

Alex Tan

(URGENT TO ADDIE) If you plan on watching Troy (2004), should it win this poll or any future poll, I STRONGLY recommend the 2007 Director's Cut. #TroyDirectorsCutForAddieCounts

Alex Tan

I would love to see Addie watch Days of Thunder (1990) soon. #DaysOfThunderForAddieCounts PiB also watched Crimson Tide (1995), The Rock (1996), Con Air (1997) and Gone in 60 Seconds (2000). Those are the Jerry Bruckheimer produced movies that I'm also suggesting to Addie as well. #MoreJerryBruckheimerForAddieCounts

LightsCameraJake

300 is good eye candy and Dunkirk is Christopher Nolan so those two are my picks. In my opinion though Dunkirk is Nolans most confusing film, when it comes to him messing with his timeline of events. Even Oppenhiemer is easy to follow in comparison, so You really need to pay extra attention or you'll get confused on what is happening and when, but still an impressive movie visually and cinematically xD

Clay F

Agree, but I think the theatrical version of Apocalypse Now (1979) is better for a first watch. A masterpiece.

Clay F

I voted (my top 3): -Master & Commander -Dunkirk -1917 I also voted: -300 (while questionable in parts, it is slick to me, and different. I like it.) I also like Fury, but does not make sense for me to vote for too many.

Richard Maurer

I'm not going to say something silly, like 'the other films in the poll suck' - because they don't. My two least favorite would be MaC:TFSotW and Dunkirk, but I still like both of them.Just so happens I love both 300 and Troy more than any of the others, having watched both multiple times. But feel free to vote for what you like. 300 would be good for Addie's YT channel however. PiB's YT reaction is at 500k currently.

Richard Maurer

Added a vote for 1917, because you're right it is a great film.

PHILLIP CORNISH

I felt the same at the time. I was on a monthly membership and dropped a month or two. Understand where your coming from.

Jasbro

Damn shame Fury is last, its such an amazing movie.

Jo

I can't believe Fury is last, it's incredible.

Alex Tan

NEW OBJECTIVE AS OF THIS COMMENT: Let's make Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003) & Dunkirk (2017), both tie as the runners-up to 300 (2006) so that Addie watches ALL THREE movies.

Alex Tan

I can't believe Dunkirk (2017) is third. That movie was awesome.

Alex Tan

I do hope that Addie finds a way to balance out the types of content that she offers to account for the different movie preferences of her subscribers.

The Astral Nut

Right, like this is such a bad list because every option is amazing. But, i'm going with Master and Commander...such a good one.

The Astral Nut

I quite enjoyed 300....awesome adaptation of the Graphic Novel. And for what it was...a mindless, fight fest, told like the great tales of old.... I think it accomplished its goal perfectly.

Lana Gorgeous

Hacksaw Ridge with Andrew Garfield is the war movie you have to watch. Not only is it a war movie but a romance and also based on a true story and person. This movie is totally amazing!
