Happy Friday, Addie. I'm so glad that you enjoyed Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990). I enjoyed it too, especially with all of the different personalities of the Gremlins themselves in this one. Both are good but I still prefer the first movie, given it has more horror elements.

Rich

If you want a good laugh. Check out the Key and Peele Gremlins 2 sketch

Randolph Tirazona

Mogwai!!! Her name is Kate - AKA Phoebe Cates :)

Randee Carreno

Happy Friday, Addie! 😊 YAY!!!! I've been so excited for you to watch this one ever since you saw the first movie. This is such a fun movie! I keep forgetting that Christopher Lee(RIP always) is in this. The talking Gremlin had always been my favorite of the "new batch" of Gremlins. As you saw Mr. & Mrs. Futterman survived their run in with the tractor in the first movie. And Billy and Kate are still going strong. I'm definitely looking forward to watching this reaction later this evening. And I might even re-watch your reaction for the first movie as well. Have a great day today & weekend! 😊

Another franchise in the books for Addie! 🙂 Of course, apparently Chris Columbus has had a "Gremlins 3" in development for several years now; whether it ever actually comes to fruition remains to be seen. I'm guessing the drama with the first one on YT drove the decision to make this an exclusive? If you couldn't tell, just like with Biff in the alternate 1985 timeline in "Back to the Future, Part II," Daniel Clamp was a parody of Donald Trump. He was initially seen as the antagonist of the movie, but John Glover (who you may also remember as Bryce Cummings from "Scrooged") ended up making him more endearing than originally intended.

David Noone

Such a goofy movie but I remember the elevator scene with the creepy Gremlin hands reaching out scaring the hell out of me as a kid.

Yes, Murray Futterman's hero arc is one of the more interesting aspects of the movie, especially compared to the first one.

After the credits, Daffy Duck says "That's All Folks!" instead of Porky Pig.

Alex Tan

"Ooh sheeu-dududududududu! The little steps." Now that's both funny and cute at the same time, Addie. Did you just gibber, again?

Steve SG-1

Lionel Luther, The Doctor, Count Dooku, Hulk Hogan, Gomez Addams, Phoebe Cates, It can't not be awesome!

Randolph Tirazona

Here's one - off the wall - A funny comedy! Turner & Hooch 1989

Chris

hello ppl, if anyone sees this and knows the answer - Has Addie watched Game of Thrones?

LaserLamb

What happened to the store owner's grandson(?) from the 1st movie? Shouldn't he have come & taken Gizmo after his granddad died? 🤔

LightsCameraJake

No, but she also does not actively watch multi season shows for the channel yet. So maybe it could be a show she can watch when she makes those commitments. I too would love a GoT reaction from Addie!

Doug

I find it funny that Howie Mandell was the voice of Gizmo. 😄

Billy Dancel

A fever dream is a perfect description. I never wanted to see this after the first one came out and it wasn’t until today that I gave in. I’m surprised that Billy never got the blame put on him when they found out he had dealt with it before. The part I really liked was when the electric gremlin got put on hold and had to deal with the music and it hated it! That was brilliant! So G2 is now checked off.

It's basically the same voice he did for Skeeter on Muppet Babies in the '80s and again for Bobby on Bobby's World in the '90s.

Doug

Ah yeah I forgot about those, I never actually watched them. 🤷‍♂️

Owen Wildish

Addie Counts, I don't know if you've ever seen Critters or have done a reaction to it, but imagine if they'll make a Gremlins Vs Critters movie one day...
