Here's the full length reaction to Episode 6 ("Bastogne") of Band of Brothers! This episode was hard to watch, and I imagine it'll get even harder to watch over the last few episodes. Six episodes down, four to go! Enjoy!

“I’m tearing up over someone eating chocolate. It’s just so kind.” It’s because you realize how a simple thing that we take for granted is beyond a luxury in their situation.

Thanks Addie for the reaction. I knew Cajuns growing up in SE Texas near the Louisiana border. I also lived in Louisiana a few years and became friends with several Cajuns, some from the heart of Cajun country whose parents spoke broken English.

Hey Addie if you see this comment I want to let you know of some symbolism in this episode. Doc Roe said to Renee the Nurse, that her touch it calms people, the symbolism is even after she died, Doc Roe took her bandanna for himself, but shortly after gave it to somebody who needed a bandage. Even after death, she was still helping people :) Also about some of your questions in your conclusion, ill stay very vague and say, stay tuned for the documentary :)

Jared Frederick of the Reel History channel covered this episode, showing a photo of the real medic Eugene Roe that was given to Jared by Eugene’s grandson.
