'SUP Awesome Patrons! Taskmaster Season 3 Episode 3, Little Polythene Grief Cave, continues the comedy high-water mark established by its two predecessors. These contestants are all genuinely funny and engaging, and this episode is also where I consciously noticed the show as a whole really finding its footing.

Here is the unedited, full-length version of my reaction to Episode 3, and I would love if you watched along with me. *updated thumbnail to come* Definitely be sure to let me know your thoughts about It if you do! I've provided the unblurred version up top via Streamable (just click the photo thumbnail), and the link for the blurred YouTube version can be found here: https://youtu.be/f9ARQB_LIcI. For those watching the blurred version, remember that you'll need your own copy of the episode to sync up (I found the full Taskmaster episodes free on YouTube, fyi).

Thanks as always for your incredible support, and I hope you have a great rest of the day/night!

Hi David! The edible flags remind of a task in s3e3 of TMNZ. The contestants just had to make a flag that was written on the card (there was a helpful picture of a flag on the card as well) Unfortunately, the picture on the card did not match the name of the country that was written on it. The contestants stupefied looks of betrayal weeks later in the studio was comedy gold! I found I mostly agreed with scoring in this episode. Gorman's effort to give the TM personalised Wem gifts was inspired, and he had the best domino track. Sara's bread anchoring was superb (she even caught 2 escaping baloons!) and Paul's light up dreadlocks were charmingly weird. I agree, as much as he pretends to be be fickle and biased, Greg really does a great job of remaining neutral. It's clear that he adores Paul, (as he has had favourites in other seasons) but does not let that bias his judgement of the tasks.

So s03 is not one that I have watched a lot so it’s been a real treat to rewatch with you and be reminded of just how hilarious this cast is. The Dong and the Gong last ep had me rolling on the floor laughing. It will be really sad to leave them…but on the other hand s04 is one of my top 5 seasons overall so I’m super super excited for you to get to it.

Becky

If you think it’s sad when there’s not enough episodes in a season, wait til you fall in love with the cast of a Taskmaster New Years Treat and have to part with them after just one episode.

Becky

Excited for the next few seasons. I think 4 - 7 were all in my top.

Paul's creepy Twister always cracks me up. In case you didn't know, Al's Rolo gift is a reference to the old Rolo adverts – their slogan was 'do you love anyone enough to give them your last rolo?' I'll be at Chalke History Festival next week and I was excited to see that Al Murray would be there... then I realised my tickets are for Friday and his shows are on Wednesday. No Al Murray for me :(

Michael!! How are you buddy? Yeah, I just love every bit of Taskmaster at this point, honestly. I look forward to going upstairs and record reactions for it every time, and I hope that never changes (especially because I still have 14 seasons to go! lol)

David vs. Film

Thank you!! Oh I am so glad to hear this about S4, btw. I am going to miss these guys quite a bit, I can already tell, but it really does make me excited when I hear you say that about the next season. Lots to look forward to :)

David vs. Film

Oh GOD, what??? I didn't know about this yet! Yeah, I won't be happy about that I can tell you right now.

Becky

It’s better to know now so minimise the pain later on hah. The New Years Treat episodes are done with non comedians, so actors etc. They come between seasons, so it’s even more of a tease because we’re just desperate for any more TM content we can get our hands on!

David vs. Film

Awww... womp womp (on the Al Murray). THANK YOU re: the Rolos! I knew what they were because we have them here too, but I don't remember that particular ad. So all the empty paper didn't make sense to me. Now that you explain it, that increases the value of the gift in my mind's eye. Very nice and funny
