PATREON EXCLUSIVE REACTION: Grab your fedoras and metal spoons- it's time to watch the latest Legend's Pick, Powder! For anyone unfamiliar with the Legend's Pick, this is where every member of the Legends Tier is welcome to suggest a favorite movie of any era or genre for me to watch each month, and then the winning suggestion is chosen at random for a Patreon Only reaction.

I would like to extend a big THANK YOU and CONGRATULATIONS to Legend *Watson* for being this month's winner! I thought Powder was an incredibly engaging film right from the beginning, and I especially liked that even though the movie had a lot of heart, it didn't shy away from showing us the tough scenes as well. And while all the actors succeeded in portraying their characters seemingly effortlessly, it was Sean Patrick Flanery's creation of the titular "Powder" that really electrified the screen (pun intended).

I've provided the unblurred version up top via Streamable (just click the photo thumbnail), and the link for the blurred YouTube version can be found here: https://youtu.be/niW6aU1oUxA. For those watching the YouTube version, remember that you'll need your own copy to sync up.

Thanks again to Watson and ALL of you incredible Patrons for your support! I hope that you enjoy this reaction :)

Watson

Thanks for watching this! Where he was living is a huge town compared to where I grew up, but it has all of the close-minded people of my small town. I wasn’t albino, but I was from Dallas, dragged to the country and I was gay and got treated worse than Powder. Maybe that’s why I can relate to it so closely. I appreciate you and all of your followers that watched this. It’s been awhile since we had a good drama 🎭

Gee, I wonder what I’ll suggest for a great Christmas film?! 😏

Awwww my friend.. I've seen you talk about your past before and what you went through, but reading this still just makes me want to give you a hug. And this is exactly why I love movies and shows so much- being able to identify with stories and experiences on the screen when it's maybe not an option in real life. I'm so glad you recommended this movie and shared it with me :)
