PATREON EXCLUSIVE REACTION: Some Kind of Wonderful (1987) (Patreon)

PATREON EXCLUSIVE REACTION: Catching up on our Legend's Movie Picks, we have THREE upcoming films that will be Patreon Exclusive reactions: Some Kind of Wonderful, Safety Not Guaranteed, and The Final Girls. For anyone unfamiliar with the Legend's Pick feature, this is where members of the Legends Tier are invited to suggest a favorite movie of any era or genre each month for me to watch, and the winning suggestion is chosen at random for a Patreon Only reaction for all Patrons to enjoy.

I would like to extend a big THANK YOU and CONGRATULATIONS to Legend *DAN ROTELLO* for being the first winner with his suggestion of Some Kind of Wonderful! I thought Some Kind of Wonderful was a heartwarming modern classic from John Hughes, and I enjoyed it so much. The acting from the main three stood out especially (although I'll always hold a candle in my heart most for Mary Stuart Masterson), but also the writing from Hughes as well.

I've provided the unblurred original with my commentary up top via Streamable (just click the photo thumbnail), and the link for the blurred watch along version can be found here: https://youtu.be/bph2Wh1LBKA. For those opting to do the watch along version, remember that you'll need your own copy of the movie to sync up with my reaction.

Thanks again to Dan and to ALL of you incredible Patrons for your support! I hope that you enjoy this reaction :)
