Patreon Exclusive: Pics from our Colorado trip (Patreon)

Because Houston gets 362 days of hot weather on average each year, Marc and I set off for Colorado in search of Winter. And since we love you guys here on Patreon MORE THAN ANYONE IN THE WORLD, we'd like to share a few photos like the old people that we are. Let's begin with Slide 1 of 7,428...  (just kidding)

These were taken yesterday in Durango, Colorado. The first few are from skiing up on the mountain and trying to be athletic. Next up is Marc by the train station looking into the distance like he's on the cover of a country music album while we waited to watch I.S.S. at the little Gaslight Theater (very suspenseful movie, btw!). We then headed to an awesome pub called Derailed Pour House, to get one of our favorite drinks, "Room 217". Named after the infamous room in The Shining, this haunting drink is no joke. Well that got the alcoholic ball rolling, so we made one more stop at a place called The Bookcase and Barber. This neat watering hole throws back to the classic days of speakeasies by appearing to be a regular barbershop up front that hides a secret bookcase entrance to a cozy bar in the back. The theme pays homage to all the literary greats with cool cocktails named In their honor. We finished the night with poboys picked up from a local joint called T's Smokehouse and gumbo that I made for Mardi Gras earlier in the week (Louisana roots baby!).

We had a really great time, but we're ready to get back today and watch more movies and shows! Once we get home, we'll knock out the final two eps of Game of Thrones Season 5 and Spider-Man: No Way Home, so be on the lookout for those this week.
