💮 Watch AVATAR - The Last AIRBENDER ANIMATED SERIES on NETFLIX

**Time to check out this show! I wanted a show that could fill the void of One Piece.

Ive seen a few clips and moments from this show as a little kid and some on social media, which I will mention what things I remember during my watch-through of this series as they happen. But besides main characters names and a some of their powers I am slightly aware of. (Like Toph so knowing she is blind, and bends rocks. Katara that she has water abilities, Zuko fire abilites. and the fact he has a crazy sister)

The plot, and mostly everything else about the show I am going in without knowledge.

I AM HONESTLY HOW SHOCKED how interesting the story is 3 ep in and how anime like it feels. SOOO many people hyped up this show so excited to finally give it a go!

For the Following weeks I will post 3 REACTS on WEDNESDAY!

(like I did today, but on Wednesday)

I can't believe you've never seen Avatar. It's the one of the greatest shows ever

The Artist

Holy peak ✋️🙂‍↕️🤚

JamiUwU

Everyone keeps saying that and before I recorded these I was thinking “nahhh no way” 😅. I feel like because it’s a Nickelodeon show I was like “it can’t be that deep” but the first 3 ep felt really anime story like to me. Now I’m ready for more 😭👌

Leeto

Its only going to get better!

Spiritstrike

The original ATLA was a great show and I think you'll really enjoy the journey!

Louie Marcou

You haven't seen Avatar? That's crazy. One of the best Western cartoons ever

Andrew Diseker

You have to understand this show had a whole season to explain things a little at a time, so you have to learn by immersion. All of your questions will be answered in a few episodes.

Monroe

One thing is for sure: Jami is going to love Uncle Iroh

Dandy Zoran

Shes going to love this show

joegriffin2000

There is sooooo much to learn about this world. I can not wait for you to see rest of the series!

Bryann Kam

Regarding the anime feel of the series, the creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko (the fandom likes to call them Bryke for short) have listed the works of Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli as a major influence on Avatar’s overall tone, vibe, and especially art style. With their favorites being Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke. BTW Jami, how long until you get yourself an Appa plushie?

AvatarDan

SpongeBob has won Nicks kids choice awards every year, there was only one year that it didn’t win Nicks KCA and that was in 2008 where Avatar the last airbender won, you know how goated of a show you have to be to dethrone SpongeBob for a singular year

Your first instincts are right, this is childish. But that's not the only thing to describe it. I could list so many things, but I'll settle for saying it's amazing. I started this show when I was 12 back when the first episode premiered and I watched it all the way to the finale. I think this show is right up your alley. And your instincts were right about the music, this shows OST is legendary.

Mr. Every

At the age of 14, I watched this as a freshman, and I fell in love with the soundtrack in a way I hadn’t with anything before, it’s what made me start composing music.

Acse

I thought that it was a Nickelodeon movie, the commercial for it felt like a movie trailer. I'm so happy that I loved cartoons as a kid and last Airbender a chance.

Vertiguous

There is an explanation for why Katara is the only waterbender in the village, but it's not given until much later.

Rachel

The live action movie was horrid

J Syc

Need you to watch Digimon Last Evolution Kizuna movie 😭

Freikugel

I'm very late, but I am very happy you chose this for a reaction series. It's seriously incredible.

Ruf

this is gonna be a fun binge

Ethan Hines

I wouldn’t call it childish at all. It’s for all ages. It had very dark elements. It has kiddy jokes sure, but the lessons can be applied to anybody at any age.

LeadPerformer

I shall start this journey since I finished solo leveling 😭
