Got those coming up. I’ve been binging a lot after Christmas. Like with that and stranger things and the other anime’s I’m watching. I would say the next two hazbin I’ll have up by Monday and Tuesday. (I will take note of those dates so I get them up on those days)

You might have some selective memory there . Cartoons rarely went dark back then. At least western cartoons. I grew up back then and I can guarantee for every dark show you are thinking of there were 3 that were just kid stuff. sitcom stuff. this was the age of Spongebob and Rugrats. cartoons nowadays are much more likely to tackle heavy topics than back then, likely because they were influenced by the few shows that weren't afraid to go dark back then. Like ATLA.

Something you should keep in mind is that bending isn’t like say the elemental magic in Fairy Tail for example, it’s more like a fighting style or martial art that one needs to learn and train in to utilize (at least properly). In fact, the fight choreography for each type of bending is based on actual real-world martial arts. For example: Firebending based its movements on the Northern Shaolin style of kung fu. TL;DR: if you’re typical elemental fighting is like basic brawling or simply throwing a punch or kicking with no real form or technique, bending is like a proper fighting style or martial art form/discipline.
