As a kid, seeing avatar Kyoshi appear and proudly confess to the murder was WILD. Not something you see in many kids shows.

God, I love Jennifer Hale's voice. Perfect Kyoshi.

KmNk218

For such little screen time Kyoshi has become a fan favorite. She's just cool overall.

Spiritstrike

Kyoshi is voiced by the talented Jennifer Hale! I love her so much!

K

Chin is normal sized. Kyoshi is seven feet tall.

T

What I love about Uncle Iroh is that he allows Zuko to make his own decisions, and all he wants is to provide Zuko with support.

Bryann Kam

Well, not exactly murder. Though Kyoshi did openly admit that she was willing and able to do whatever she must when push comes to shove.

Bryann Kam

On that note, Chin was a double reference. He derives his name from the 1st emperor of China Qin Shi Huang (the guy famous for the Terracotta Army) and his stature (at least compared to Kyoshi) is an allusion to the infamous myth about Napoleon Bonaparte being quite short.

Bryann Kam

She also voiced June the bounty hunter earlier back in Book 1

I mean, fair. But it was a murder trial, and she basically said "Yep, I killed him. And I'd do it again."
