Yeah Zuko killed that guy it was not shown however for obvious reasons. Bro died painfully being sliced like a cake (confirmed by Avatar creators)

Sending good vibes out for Sanji! hope he recovers quickly

Fun fact: the guy reaching enlightenment while under the tree is a reference to how the Buddha found enlightenment doing exactly that, meditating under a tree. Also, we did find out what made the tornado, it was the swamp. If you notice when the screaming bird showed up again at the end (but before we got the return of Zuko’s Blue Spirit alter ego), one of the roots suddenly moved and whacked it. Indicating that yes, the swamp is indeed alive and very much mystical in nature.

Uhhh... Source? I've been a fan of the show for years, and I've never seen any mention of this. Also, this sounds extremely out of character for Zuko. He may be vengeful, but he's never shown excessive amounts of cruelty like you're describing here.

I wouldnt call it excessive. Dude was incredibly cruel to his Uncle. If hes that mean to just a random beggar hes definitley awful to other people too. I doubt Zuko lost much sleep over him
