Sequel called Korra. I think it's great, but some people hate it

You should definitely check out The Legend of Korra (the sequel show) and also the new Aang movie. Though be careful of spoilers, because the Aang movie got leaked due to yet another display of Paramount Studios' gross incompetence as a company... *cough* *cough* Transformers One (2024) 's marketing *cough*.

In the scene where Ty Lee and Mai pretend to spill the beans, Ty Lee says "Princess Azula promised we would go back to the Fire Nation as soon as we captured the Avatar". That was a lie. Azula said earlier that her actual plan was to take over Ba Sing Se. The idea behind her letting the Dai Li spy on them was so that they repeat this lie to their leader. It worked, they brought her to Long Feng to make a deal, and the whole time he thinks he's in control, that his little act of "I know all about your plans" will work as it often has, but Azula is one step ahead. Long Feng still thinks Ty Lee and Mai were sloppy, and that they were telling the truth, that they'd leave as soon as they have the Avatar. That's why he doesn't see Azula slowly taking over the Dai Li as even a possibility. He thinks she's in a bind, forced to work with them, when she's exactly where she wants to be. So yes, she indeed had all of it planned out. As for what happened to Aang, the way I see it is that he was, like, on the brink of death. The kind of state that, in medical shows, takes a full team of doctors shouting "clear" while spamming the defibrillator, narratively speaking. If not for the Spirit Water, he would've been a goner.

The 7 chakras and how to unblock them were incredibly accurate to the beliefs in real life. With one exception. The final chakra. While the way to unblock it is to indeed let go of earthly attachments, it doesn't mean straight up abandon them. It merely means no longer making them necessary for your life. Think about it like this. Instead of being with your significant other because you NEED them, you are with them because you WANT to be. I hope that makes sense. It's about not tying the basis of your life around something. So even though Aang unlocked that last chakra I actually think it is a good thing for his relationship with her.

This very nearly became the final Avatar episode. The series was soft-cancelled after this season and most people assumed it wouldn't continue. luckily people pushed hard for it and it got a final season. This though left a big gap between seasons 2 and 3 that many of us kids were confused about.

I remember being really confused that my friend got the last season on DVD from blockbuster. The rollout of it was weird.

Iroh is my favorite character too. He's the main reason I love the show so much. As a kid I watched it for the Gaang, as an adult I rewatch it for Iroh and Zuko's relationship.

It was a very bold move for a kid show to literally have the main character straight up die. Like, even if he got revived moments later, it shows that he's not some omnipotent being. Just one clean hit and he's dead. And they used up the special healing water, so there's no more second chances...

Legend of Korra wich is the seaquel is defenatly worth watching though in my opinion its not as good. I would rate Korra 8/10 and Aang 10/10

Ohhhh so that was all about. I remember how Nickelodeon just use to go from the firts two books over and over and it was really anoying and confusing. Yep, final season definetly took its time to premiere

This episode is enough proof for me that Katara is a far more skilled bender than Azula in a 1v1, she's not someone to mess around with lol.

I am so glad you didnt rag on the earth king for revealing the invasion. I feel like most reactors call him an idiot even though he was told they are allies of the avatar.

I think it's just more of contrasting styles. It's not dbz where someone is just better. In this fight Zuko did better against Katara because he's faced her before, and he just has more experience fighting other styles in general. He was also getting handled by Aang, as he always does when he fights Aang. And Azula always gives Aang trouble, including in this fight.

Plans to for a massive military invasion would still be considered confidential during most eras. They wouldn't just tell random people they just met even if they are considered allies.

I feel like Zuko's relapse back into his hunt for Aang is akin to an Alcoholic, after a time of sobriety all it takes is but a taste and you give in to the disease.

It was night time, water gets stronger. katara is also probably the strongest water bender going into season 3, so it made sense in those conditions with a bunch of water nearby she could best her. she struggled against an opponent significantly worse in zuko but he has familiarity with her so he did better. azula had never fought her before that. in a pure 1v1 therte is no body im taking at this point other than azula though, her mind is second to none and we've never seen her kind of force with fire bending from the other characters.)
