So the thing about Ainz is that he is very very paranoid and cautious. That is one of the reasons why (aside from their op abilities) it will be very hard to find a way to defeat him. While he is not as smart as Demiurge, he takes great lengths to make sure his plans are 100% foolproof and is always finding ways to make himself and Nazarick stronger. On top of his overpowered magic abilities and his op army, hes more cautious than anyone in that world. Combined, its impossible to stop him unless an equally powerful army arises or his people turn against him.

i never watch overlord but i just watch a few scenes that had cgi and all i gotta said is "yikes". who ever though it was a good idea needs to be fired. ps3 games had better cgi then this. i can't believe im saying this but season 3 of seven deadly sins looks better. doesn't matter if you've seen worst cgi because a bad cgi is a bad cgi.

I don’t think so. I think ppl have grown ungrateful because of all the crazy animations lately but to be honest most animes on Netflix looks worse than this. I don’t bat an eye at this but I just couldn’t do the 3D cgi berzerk. But I respect yours and her opinion but from my point of view it literally never bothered me and I didn’t even think bout till like the 3rd time I heard her complain about it where as there are actual anime I don’t watch cause of how it looks

@say your dragging it, overlord as a serious is a show that doesn't even require crazy an animation as its focus is more in the interactions of characters not the fights.. As long as the scale is correctly produced it doesn't really matter...S3 still did well... Sure enri's army was all cgi but it didn't make it any less shocking at the fact that she summoned them.. Where as seven deadly sins focus is in the fights and did poor in that scale which is what cause the show to flop.

Ainz has many challenges through the whole anime, they are just almost never related to power. Time to look deeper and take a look at his struggle as a leader, where basically Demi is taking over, just one challenge right here.

Powerwise Ainz is about the middle of his guild Touch Me was the strongest so strong infact his build was broken and the devs had to go in and make it impossible for anyone else to get it. So while Ainz is powerful some of the Floor Guardians are stronger Shalltear for instance.

As to the complaint about Ainz vs Gazef this is not a Shonen combat is not the main focus story is. So the fights only exist to serve the story rather than the story existing to serve the fights.
