SMF just so you know Aladdin's wish to Ugo was only for Ugo to be his friend; it's just a coincidence that he asked Alibaba for the same thing. And this series is based on the Arabian Nights stories

Eddie or Redd

This is my 2nd favorite anime after FairyTail. Same reason as Fairy Tail with me watching it at the right time when i was going through hard times and it made me feel better.

BliTixX

I was watching this show at the same time with FairyTail too ! Time by really fast !!

Unholy

Yesss more people need to watch this show. So happy

Lorias

To be fair it's difficult because it's a pre-existing word that is pronounced differently in different languages. The way you pronounce it in this video is the American pronunciation and how I've always been told to pronounce it (even though I'm English), it's not a wrong way to pronounce the word but it's not how they pronounce it in Japanese. The Japanese pronounce it the way I assume you'll be pronouncing it from now on so that became the official name/pronunciation of the anime.

Assimilater

Potentially 3 from this show

Lorias

That probably didn't help. Sorry.

Sayyongtou

the wish was that he wanted ugo to be his friend. he didn't "wish for a friend" wasn't really a wish but more like a request. it transition to him saying "please be my friend" to alibaba. he said "please be my friend" to ugo as well. also.. besides the name and the egypt atmosphere... it has nothing to do with the disney aladdin.

Vinny Deluca

Well they have a similar source material with both coming from the story of Aladdin (and Alibaba) and Djins and Genies are similar too

Matthew Galindo

Not my favorite anime or anything, but criminally underrated in my opinion. Very excited to see your reactions to this one!

Shirotatsu

Ah yeah! Magi is an amazing anime. Cant wait to watch with you.

Ernesto Martinez

Fun fact, the music and OST in this anime was composed by Shiro Sagisu. The same composer from BLEACH

JamiUwU

Ohhhh GOT IT. Yeah that was a bit confusing but yeah that makes more sense 😄

Sayyongtou

like i said.... names, atmosphere etc are similar to the disney aladdin but the plot is no even slightly similar.

ali ahmed

cant wait for slime

All Might

No way! This show is pog!

RiShinMarco

God how long ago was it that I watched this anime oO

Equinox

Chris619

Blackeye

GotherL

Those main characters look so kiddy but got fooled by HXH before for the longest time so I will give it a try.
