Eldia subjugated Marley for hundreds of years, it was after Marley staged a revolution and took the Titans that the King fled to the walls, founded Paradis, and the fascist empire of Marley was established.

well thats the whole thing. this entire conflict was built on the fact that someone's ancestors did something. i mean look at our world now. you think jewish ppl forgot about the holocaust? if a guy told a jewish guy his grandfather was a nazi, what do you think would happen? even if they themselves arent affiliated with nazis, the bad reputation still stands. its hard to get rid of it. contrary to popular belief, the Eldians are actually the Nazis in this case. Since they were the ones that subjugated Marley and the others first with the power of the titans. The Marleyans are pieces of shits but they are responding naturally to what history portrayed the Eldians as and done. its a whole tragedy more than "whos in the wrong". the cycle doesnt stop until one side is destroyed.

@Rohit But the Marleyans didn't know that they've been living peacefully within the walls until Willy relieved that the King was removing their memories. To them, the Eldians just retreated to Paradis and have been regaining strength and doing god knows what else. Imagine if the Nazis retreated to an island and then went radio silent for 100 years. Now imagine that those Nazis can turn into man eating monsters and also have the means to destroy the world. If you were Marley you'd be sus too
