It looked incredible and the music at the end was a good choice hope the rest of the arcs goanna look like this

Tyler

It looks like no new one piece episode next week. Its going to be a recap episode.

JamiUwU

I'll probably revisit and do a review on this episode. Because there is a lot to talk about

Tevin Logan

Amazing work in this episode loved every moment of it and by the way it looked like kaido was a bit shook up by that attack

JamiUwU

I hope the transition to the next episode isn't that jarring though with a style change

Kazza

I’ve watched this episode a few times since it’s been out and I’m close to sobbing at the kin'emon bit every time, it just hits different. And the animation is soooo beautiful!!

Ichigoat

Don't know if you caught on but Luffy dream Ace was talking about wasn't to be king of the pirates. Roger had the same dream and his goal was never to be king of the pirates. It was a title given to him. So Luffy real dream is something unknown to us

Zaj

Not only is this episode by Megumi Ishitani as you said, this is also the adaptation of One Piece Chapter 1000. This episode also has near the exact same title as One Piece Episode 1. Ep1: "I'm Luffy! The Man Who Will Become the King of the Pirates!" Ep1015: "Straw Hat Luffy! The Man Who Will Become the King of the Pirates!" What a momentous episode.

Markus

I think it's time to go back watching the anime version, get ready for the Roof Piece boys

JamiUwU

Yeah I mean during Rogers/Oden flashback they mentioned something else hinting at his dream being not the king of the pirates so basically we saw the colors colliding that Roger and Luffy have the same dream we have yet to find out. Kinda always suspected there was more anyways

Kollie123

Of course it’s a masterpiece, ace is heavily in it 👍

ProphetX

Amazing episode and also an amazing reaction

Slendarz

Luffy's "Red Roc" was originally called "Gigant Red Hawk" in the rough draft, but Oda decided to upgrade it. Roc is an enormous legendary bird of prey in the popular mythology of the Middle East.

Michael

Its going to be lol it's happened every time why would it change now?

Jose Luis Membreno

Oh man I'm going to watch this episode and later will watch your reaction

Niko

I'm just saying welcome to Roof Piece.

Shakir

ROOF PIECE OMG

DerKomikerHD

Finally Roof Piece arrived in the anime

⚡ SHOCK ⚡

Pour one out for my boy Kin'ne Mon Luffys Walking to the roof with his crimson red versace shirt 🔥 and Each captain coming out through their own tunnel/ to the top. cept for my mans Zoro who came in flying LOL Next week is a recap of all the wano arc. Roof piece will be back during the cinco de mayo weekend

Sam Beso

the episode was out of this world ... yet you look even better girl <3

Cee-Bee

A wonderful animation for manga chapter 1000…wow wow wow…this adaption…wow wow wow

kman

Why?

Ali Cat

I know people love it when the animation for action scenes are great but it's even better when the animation for expressions and body movement is on point. The way Yamato waved goodbye to Ace in this was so super cute! 🥰🤣

whoswho22

What an Episode ! Some parts of Yamato's backstory weren't even in the manga. I love when the anime adds more details to the Story , especially when it is as well done as it was in this Episode ! 🙃

Buffy

I wish this director was the main director she truly gives one piece the love it deserves. All I have to say is wow this episode had me feeling all emotions.

Kevin Schomaker

All I have to say is, Welcome to Roof Piece!

William

Like that opening! If you made that great work! Wonderful reaction, your emotions were everywhere. Beautiful episode! I’m still catching up but saw the title and had to watch lol.

Murkrow

Watching this episode, and then thinking about that i've actaully been watching this on a weekly basis ever since the first episode released back in year 1999, rocks my world... It might have been 20 years for Wano but for us it's been 23 years for real for this fight to happen xD Roof Piece is finally here <3

Tyler

How old are you??

Jose Luis Membreno

Omg Jamie dont you worry I got teared up just a little bit on this episode but my god Luffy is just a beast for feal

EmDragonx

i learn of one piece back in 2000 and then in 2005 i was able to continue watching it again and been reading the manga aswell ever since

RiShinMarco

Since I still do not care for Ace everything before the commercial break was nice to watch but all in all just flashbacks I don't need :D . I have to say they actually used a whole chapter in this episode, which is kind of refreshing. The animation was great, but now I fear the next episode even more... And that is probably the point I'm most disapointed by with the wano arc. This episode had great animations and art style changes over the whole episode, but all in all the use 1-2 minutes of top notch animation every episode and the remaining time looks worse than ever. I know it is difficult to archive that level of animation all the time, but Toei does make big money with OP and if they wanted they could make OP look better on an average episode (of course the wouldn't win as much money that way). I still wish they would have just made OP a seasonal show after their hacking attack, that way they could have given it more love but I guess Toei doesn't care because they still make their money. And don't get me wrong I love the manga, but the anime is most of the time a waste of my time and I skip more of the episode than I actually watch. Which is the reason why I buy the manga but won't buy the anime because I don't wnat to give my money to Toei at all. I just hope (if I live to that day) that we get a One Piece remastered one day after it's finished without filler content and the use of 2-3 Chapters per episode.

RiShinMarco

Zoro wouldn't have found the way up anyway.

SonicKing2004

I'm guessing that you mean the next regular episode, since next week's episode is another recap narrated by Bartolomeo. Honestly I wouldn't mind the recap episode so much if they put more effort into the art and animation of the new sequences rather than South Park-ing it. Even the recap episode in the final season of Legend of Korra, which at the time embodied the worst things people hated about recap episodes, even that had more care and attention paid to it than the first Barto's Secret Room episode.

Murkrow

29 I was 6 years old back then ^^

Lyon

If its so bad, why would you even watch it at all? Why can people not just enjoy a thing without having to shit on it? The anime is the best its been in years and yet you manga elitist's cant even give it credit for shit. ARGUABLLY one of the best one piece episodes ever and your still complaining bro. Just drop the damn anime, trust me no-one wants you on every post complaining that the manga's better homie :)

Lyon

Bartos Room is trash tho I wont lie.
