I'm not too well versed in this genre of anime, but it seems to me that there aren't a lot of anime out there that have the girlfriend/boyfriend get along or even see the parents of the other. I know horimiya did. Is this true or is it because of my limited knowledge?

Yeah I feel like most anime the characters have one parent around. For example Maid Sama, Your Lie in April (kinda) kiokimo, WELL I guess Komi has both parents. I feel like for the most part most anime I watch there is a single parent

I like how when the mum dropped the plate which Shikomori caught and asked where the boy got his bad luck from😆😆. Even Shikomori was like "It's a mystery" (Sarcastically ofc😆😆). Clearly he got it from her😆😆😆😆😆😆

Oh I've heard of Your Lie in April! Haven't gotten a chance to sit down and watch it tho. Haven't heard of Maid Sama, Koikimo, or Komi. I'll have to check those out as well. For those shows would you recommend for me to read the manga and then watch the anime, or vice versa, or anime only?
