Well, your pronunciation is correct. It is pronounced ダミアン(/da-mi-a-n/). I like Becky, she talks what she thinks. I think that's the reason why Anya feels comfortable.

So the thing with names in anime, people seriously overcomplicate this topic. "Domian" is literally just "Damian" with a Japanese accent. It's that simple, it's just the name Damian said with an accent. Nothing more

Reminds me of how Eden zeros was pronounced. I read the whole damn manga and definitely did not nor started pronouncing it how they said it in the anime lol

Kind of like how people say Robin (one piece) with the english pronunciation instead of Rooobin like they do in the anime.

With stuff like pronunciation, most of the time you just have to go with what makes sense. If something is written Apple, but the Japanese pronounce it "Ah-Pe-Roo" you should still pronounce it Apple. Its not some secret in universe version of an Apple. Its just how they say it. Just like how you wouldnt call Luffy RooFeee because thats how Ussop says his name.
