Please read before watching!!

I am definitely feeling a burn out with BTAS. I LOOVED Nightwing's design, the mullet, everything, but hate Selina's redesign and was legit triggered by the "romance"? It just doesn't feel right at all (to ME. PLEASE don't get defensive if you like it.).

Because recording full watchalongs is so time consuming, I would like to focus on other things. If you have suggestions for must record/watch BTAS episodes for Season 3, please let me know in the Discord. I won't be checking Patreon comments because they can't be moderated; the last time we had a Bruce x Barbara Timm ship episode, I literally received essays from a couple people (blocked now) and I just don't want to deal with that again. I will watch all in my own time, but there's no value in recording myself shutting down and sinking into a panic attack.

Catwoman got the simplified logo treatment :( The design could've worked really well but it lacks depth and detail. I adore the Selina Kyle look though going back to her short dark hair we see in the comics and other renditions. I loved the long Blonde hair inspired by Michelle Pfeiffer but will never get enough short hair Catwoman, pixie cut haircuts to that 1980s to 1990s short hairstyle alot of woman rocked during this time.

The Amazing Webhead

Oh yeah this episode…this is for sure my least favorite Catwoman episode. It just felt out of character for her to basically flirting with Batman’s son even if it was all an act for her to steal something. (Pretty sure no one liked this “romance” anyways so you’re not alone.) Bruce Timm & team had this thing to pair up certain characters & some like Dick/Selina for sure doesn’t work. Also it’s pretty clear she also did it to make Bruce jealous as after the events of the episode “Catwalk” Bruce & Selina’s relationship is more strain & more at odds. Like their feelings for each other is still there but not in the forefront as Selina is embracing her more antagonistic side from the very early Batman comics & Bruce doesn’t trust her anymore. Ps I do agree with you about the frustration of certain comments and how they take things too seriously. Good call to ignore it. :)

It's crazy the audacity people of people that get mad that paid for a reaction just because it's not the kind they want. Makes me think they don't want to listen to a commentary, and instead wants a Yes Man. You made the right choice.

Yeah I know how you felt about Catwoman in this episode. Yes she was still a grown woman compared to Dick/Nightwing and who knows what Bruce Timm was thinking back then. I swear he was just messing things up with some of these characters in this TNBA season.

Naw

Ep. was and remains pretty great🤷‍♂️ Still not a fan of a lot of the Redesigns (not all, Scarecrow's remains phenomenal) Catwoman's ''Catsuit'' and white face paint being some of the worst examples, but oh well🤷‍♂️ Can't wait for Batman Beyond.

Finally got a chance to see the reaction and yeah the episode is still awkward to watch but good thing is that this is the only time Catwoman was out of character/portrayed this way as she never had done this in the comics or all other media. It’s crazy to watch this knowing even in the comics later on like in Batman: Hush, Selina was welcomed as part of the Bat-Family so I understand the cringe of seeing this.

Sad to hear BTAS comes to an end, but i think in Terms of Crossover with Superman you have come far enough. Maybe the Demon Within would be good since it introduces Charakters for later. Hope WE can still Look Forward to more Superman, Justice League+Unlimited maybe even Batman Beyond.

I'm sorry Meg for you feeling burnt out on this show but I can understand why. I also feel you on both the Catwoman design and the weird romance with her and Nightwing. I don't get why they try to push these odd relationships. Sorry that this episode left you sort of feeling disappointed. But besides that, I hope you continue to enjoy the series as there are still some pretty awesome episodes in this final season

Selina, you tease. I don't suppose it helps to say that they were both playing each other, merely pretending. Sorry to hear you're feeling burnt-out on this. Hoping you will eventually continue as it has some great episodes coming up. The best ones in TNBA are likely Old Wounds, Over The Edge, Mad Love, and Mean Seasons. Will post in Discord too. Superman is also coming up on some great material.

I honestly never thought about it before but yea you’re right about the age difference for sure. In animation it’s jsut always hard to tell especially with anime you don’t know if someone’s 800 years old or 30 . But other than this episode there’s other great ones ahead then you jsut have Superman & Justice league to look forward too which has non of this shit. & sorry your feeling burnt out you can always take breaks when you need to your channel your rules & with how you space out the reactions I felt like you took a decent break from Batman stuff tbh
