I think you would enjoy the themes in the Andor series :)

Too late for me to watch the whole thing so I think I'll just skip to the end LOL So after just watching the last 20 minutes of the movie with you, Andor is definitely worth it. Yes it's a prequel but it may honestly be one of the best things to come out of Disney Star Wars. It's definitely up there. It provides so much context not only for Cassian's story but as a rebellion as a whole. It's a brilliant political thriller. Also, this movie is amazing just for the last 20 minutes alone. That Vader hallway scene is perfection. Did a great job of truly showing us just how powerful and feared Vader was.

This Is Best enjoyed after watching the series Andor. But I’m excited to watch later on.

I'm sure hundreds will post this, but just in case: The reason the door won't open all the way when they try to flee with the plans is because Anakin is holding it closed with the force... And he still has the focus to fight all of them at once.

OMG you guys did it!!! You went for it! Rogue One BABYYYY!!!!! So happy for you and us and Star Wars! :) I haven't watched this reaction yet... but... It sounds like Andor comes up -- and all I would say is, Absolutely, Andor, one of my favorite film stories (even just S1) much less top tier SW. Absolute must-see. But I have Viewing Advice, because it is much more structured than the other Disney series or really than most TV series. It's structured like a trilogy (well really a tetrology since there are 4 stories), and I don't recommend binging, but if you cut off after certain episodes it's a bit like pausing A New Hope right as they reach the Cantina, and it feels wonky. That's one thing ppl had a hard time with 'pacing' early on. So - There are basically 4 main arcs. The first two eps in each 3 ep arc can go together well as exposition, and the third in each arc can stand on its own if needed, but I would NOT recommend the first ep in an arc and then pausing right there. At least for maximum impact and plot sense. The last 2 eps are slightly longer so there are just 2, as one final arc. Here’s what I recommend, and of course, to each their own! Eps… 1+2 (watch together) 3 (culmination) OR ideally watch 1+2+3 all together) This is like 'Film 1' of the Andor S1 Tetrology. 4+5 (watch together) 6 (culmination) OR ideally watch 4+5+6 all together) This is like 'Film 2' of the Andor S1 Tetrology. 7 (bridging episode! Watch on its own - or else do 7+8+9 / 10) 8+9 (watch together) 10 (culmination) OR ideally watch 8+9+10 all together) This is like 'Film 3' of the Andor S1 Tetrology. 11 (penultimate episode) 12 (finale!) (ideally watch these two together) This is like 'Film 4' of the Andor S1 Tetrology. Most important is to try and chew and digest the 4 arcs for themselves, mindful of their gaps between each other, as above. I really do envy anyone taking this in for the first time! It’s a stressful / cathartic show that demands attention, but *so* rewarding to the effort put in.

Life is terrifying, brutal and often short when you're in the rebellion and you're NOT the plot-armored heroes chosen by the Force to save the galaxy. You are still heroes though. This one takes advantage of its setting to bring that across even better than the Rebels CGI series (I do still recommend that series as much as Clone Wars though). Best film to come out of Disney Star Wars. K2-S0 became my new favorite droid character, too bad we won't see him again.

If we warned you, we would have spoiled you. All must be equal and unarmed when experiencing Star Wars, otherwise it’s just groupthink, not unique. Having said that, isn’t it fantastic? Note that they did a screen ID for every planet but one - it would have spoiled the surprise of the man in black. I literally was holding my iPad up while watching the movie so I could see your face and the movie at the same time for that scene and the end. I think it’s safe to tell you the actress who played Mon Mothma was in Episode III, they cut her stuff as they wanted to keep focus on Anakin. Unfortunately we lost a lot of Padmé too as a result. Yes, Andor is a prequel. One season is out, another is coming and that’s ALL I’m going to say. Would suggest a book - Guardian of the Whills. It too is a prequel to Rogue One. And now, back to Clone Wars and the Vader comic. As you can see, while they exist on their own, isn’t it fun to see how it all is joined? You make me proud as a fan every time you do a video you realize. Love or hate, always honest and open. You truly are one with the Force and the Force is with you. Always.

PLEASE watch Andor! I think you'll dig it. Andor + Rogue One actually is my favorite Star Wars. At least aside from the OT.

Loved your reaction to this. I was stunned in theaters while watching this one. This is one of my favorite Star Wars films and I love seeing something set in the star wars universe that focuses more on the 'normal' people who don't have the force or a bloodline. With all that being said, Andor is my *favorite* bit of Star Wars media. It's one of my favorite television series ever and the best science fiction social commentary show since The Expanse. You'll love it, it's definitely worth your time.

Vader is the most feared man in the galaxy for a reason. I remember there was an EU novel where an Imperial governor chose to shoot himself rather than face Vader's wrath after messing up a mission.

Heath Rezabek

Oh yeah! And - OG Mon Mothma >> Return of the Jedi Death Star mission briefing scene - "Many Bothans died to bring us this information..."

Frankie H

The actress who plays Mon Mothma was in a deleted scene in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith as the same character. Imagine being a young actor and getting to be in star wars and then they cut your scene. Fortunately when they made Rogue One they hired the actress back to play Mon Mothma. Also you noticed the easter egg at around 33:45, yeah those two guys were in the first star wars movie, they bully Luke at the bar and Obi-Wan ends them. The black storm troopers are special. They're called death troopers and they're like storm trooper special forces. When they go into battle towards the end of the movie they kill a lot of the rebel soldiers. So they're storm troopers that can actually shoot straight.
