Another amazing episode! I love the switch up you had with Frank in the diner when you were being all loving towards him while he was brutally killing those guys. Makes me even more excited for when you guys eventually watch the Punisher show cause they don't hold back at all in that show. I haven't read any Daredevil comics and I'm not well versed in them but from what I've heard from others, I'd recommend Caleb Frank Miller's The Man Without Fear and Daredevil: Born Again as the show takes inspiration from those comics, especially Man Without Fear. There's also Brian Michael Bendis' Mark Waid, and Ed Brubaker's runs on Daredevil. I don't have specific comics for them but I've heard there runs are really good. Someone whose more versed then I am could explain it better but the first two Frank Miller comics I mentioned are definite reads. I also wouldn't mind read alongs of some of these comics if you still plan to do those Meg. The scene with Matt and Frank on the ship about killing, reminds me so much of Batman. Cause Bruce believes there is always a choice and puts a restraint on himself as he has come close to killing. However he doesn't stop people like Jason Todd and Wonder Woman from killing. Speaking of Wonder Woman, she does kill sometimes but usually as a last resort. She doesn't love or enjoy doing it but if there are no other options, she's going for the kill. And while I think she wouldn't stop others from killing, like Superman and Batman, she believes there always a choice and another way to do things. I don't believe they ever enforce it onto others but they do wish people would understand that killing is not always the answer. But anyways thanks for this reaction and we got two episodes left and I can't wait!!

In your consideration for everyone else’s past trauma in this show how about considering Matt Murdock’s as well.

You need to watch Defenders to make Daredevil season 3 to make sense.

I'm glad the second half of season 2 has gotten away from trying to make Matt and Karen a thing. As someone who grew up with the Daredevil director's cut and read Frank Miller's Daredevil, I've always seen Elektra as Matt's definitive love interest, and it's who I've always rooted for him to end up with.

2026-09-19 16:00 I strongly suggest you watch all the Marvel Netflix serieses, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Defenders. Punisher also has his own series and Jessica Jones has seasons. I say this, because these serieses are officially main MCU (616) canon. All events of all these serieses take place before Infinity War by the way.

i don't really think is so important to watch defenders and all the other series, the ones who has some good writing is jessica jones and punisher. From a continuity point yes defenders has to be watched to understand what happens in the beginning of daredevil s3 but is like with the mcu that you have to watch all the movies to ''understand'' the ones you like.
