Yeah this universe is filled with baddie villains. Definitely awakenings for kids growing up in the 90’s and 2000’s.

Yes! Finally another DC reaction, specifically for STAS. Volcana is another character on a list of characters that were originally created for the animated series but unlike Livewire, I don't believe she has made an appearance in the comics, at least in the main continuity. I love the similarities to mutants in Marvel for the children with paranormal abilities. DC usually calls them metahumans but both Marvel and DC have both used the terms metahuman and mutants to describe people with superpowers. The government codename they gave for Volcana, project Firestorm, there is actually a hero in DC called Firestorm. He's an interesting character that also controls fire but he's also pretty unique with how his powers work. As you were saying about how much you like when Superman deals with governments and corruption, I recommend Superman: Red Son. It's an Elseworlds story that was even adapted into a movie of the same name and is also a cool What If?... story for Superman as it's also a period piece, similar to Gotham by Gaslight. I also really love the soundtrack in the movie but it's a shame that it has never been released officially. Would love to see a reaction to it. But thanks again for another DC reaction. With the start of S3 and you almost finishing S3 for BTAS, we are getting so much closer to Batman Beyond, Static Shock, and Justice League and I can't wait!

Start of Season 3 and a whole lot more than that- this superhuman-creating organization's slime trail leads into Justice League. Shame we don't get more of Volcana except as a general villain of the week like Livewire. As Superman vs. The Elite shows, it's always tricky business when Superman uncovers government black ops programs or faces dictatorships. He doesn't want to tear the heart out of a nation, but he can't just turn a blind eye to evil either. Better to focus on saving their victims, keeping them in a place where their abusers can't reach them easily. Unfortunately a lot of nations create these kinds of programs out of the fear that Superman might come after them some day. Jax-Ur and Mala proved how devastating a renegade Kryptonian can be. You haven't watched Agents of SHIELD? Strongly recommend remedying that, best series to come out of Marvel. Or at the very least tied with Daredevil.

Well it's about time you got to the 3rd season of Superman TAS! Yeah that Volcana was very dangerous alright. Also what you said about Lois YES her sassy wisecracks were always so hilarious!🤣
