Was not expecting this but I'm so here for it! I was debating if this should go on the list of episodes to react to and wasn't sure if it should but I'm glad you decided on it anyway. Thanks Meg! Can't wait to see what you think about it and I can't wait for Old Wounds since that is a fantastic episode!

I love Roxy but I think the only villain that Batman actually enjoys chasing is Catwoman 😉

And you thought that Double Dose was innuendo-laden... Pleasantly surprised that you recorded this one, it's kind of in the middle of the road for the season. Roxy does have an interesting connection with Batman's thrillseeker/deathseeker tendencies. Shame she doesn't get more exposure, as she would have been a perfect opponent in the Batmobile-focused Arkham Knight game. As for Penguin, in the early episodes while he did have trained birds and used bird puns he also used fancy vocabulary to make himself sound 'high-class'. Remember Birds of a Feather? The Batman 2022 version has no bird puns, acting more as a snarky mob lieutenant, closer to the crass version from the Arkham games. The one from the Gotham TV series (Robin Lord Taylor) is probably the most beloved character in that show, and carries over his animated counterpart's habit of using fancy words and longing to be appreciated.

Roxy may enjoy a thrill like Catwoman but she's still not exactly her.
