The voice actor of the fat separatist guy Lok Durd was George Takei, who played Sulu in the original star trek series from the 1960's. He does a lot of voice acting nowadays. George Takei grew up in an internment camp during world war II. He led a really amazing life, and is still really savage and witty on twitter and he's 87 I think.

Ayala is a Twi’lek, probably one of the most common aliens in Star Wars. Best IDed by the head tails going straight down the back, sometimes over the shoulders. Asoka is a Togruta, she has head tails going straight up and over her shoulders at the same time. It’s a detail thing. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on neutrality and imperialism. It’s encouraging to see the topics brought up and discussed. Gives me hope for the generation coming up behind and makes me try to remember my own values and argue for them too - keeping me honest and progressive.

I loved these episodes. Ahsoka's conversation in particular about compassion vs attachment was interesting, considering what happened to Anakin. He did pretty much kill so many people just to save one. And while the context is different, it's a nice little parallel with Ahsoka, because she lets go in the sense that she lets go of her fear of losing him and staying by his side because she trusts Rex, and it ends up working out because she ended up finding someone who could heal him. I remember this moment is when I really started being a fan of Ahsoka because she's a great character on her own even when she's not always by Anakin's side. Fun fact: Aayla Secura is voiced by Jennifer Hale. She voiced quite a few Star Wars characters in video games prior to this, and even voiced Commander Shepherd in Mass Effect lol
