A bit off topic from today’s episode , but I recommend the best Lex Luther comic of all time lex Luther Man of steel by Brian Azzarello. It gives him personal depth that he doesn’t get in the Superman movies.

Oh awesome a new Superman reaction, let's see which episode was this ...... OH NOOOOO! Oh so many nightmares from this episode.

I didn't remember much from this episode but now watching this back with you, this was definitely creepy and dark. I do like that it focused mostly on Kara and seeing her continue to learn how to live on Earth and come into her own as Supergirl. I also like that we got to see Kara's cat Streaky as well, even though it's technically Ma and Pa Kent's cat. Streaky the Supercat does have powers in the comics like Clark's dog Krypto. Although Streaky gets his powers from being exposed to X-Kryptonite, which is a variant of regular green Kryptonite that Kara accidentally created when trying to find a cure for Kryptonite. But with Krypto, he already has his powers since he's a Kryptonian dog. It's why in the Superman trailer, you can see how fast he is when Superman calls him and the huge plume of snow going up as he was making his way to him. We did actually see Krypto in the first season of STAS on Krypton and while one of the writers of the show Paul Dini wanted to include Krypto in the rest of the show, Bruce Timm said no to the idea unfortunately. What I do find interesting when it comes to Clark and Kara is that while Kara is younger than Clark, she's technically older than him since in modern iterations, she was a teenager when Krypton was doomed to blow up. So she still remembers what living on Krypton was like and seeing its eventual destruction, while Clark only has memories and ideas of his Kryptonian heritage through archives and records but doesn't actually know what it was like since he was only a baby. It makes for such an interesting relationship with Clark trying to help Kara with the trauma she endured of seeing their home planet get destroyed and helping her get used to living on Earth, while also trying to relate to her since she's the only blood relative of his still alive. Also you saying you hope more people watch this show, I definitely hope that with your reactions to these shows and movies and your general recommendations of them on social media that more people do check it out. Like even any mutuals you have that are also content creators, I'd love for them to check these out as well (whether they do reaction content to it or not). Plus I'm just sick and tired of people not giving DC a chance, either because they hear others crapping on DC in general or they just watch the live action stuff but not the animated stuff, even though the live action stuff don't do the best job at adapting these stories and characters. But only 2 more episodes left (technically 3 since the last episode is a 2 parter). I think you're gonna really love the next one and the finale. And then we will finally be at Justice League and Batman Beyond and I so can't wait for when you drop your first reaction to them!

Brian Azzarello's run writing Wonder Woman was so good. I'll definitely check out that Lex comic if he wrote it.

That Unity alien monster was such a freaky one! Still that whole experience taught Kara a lesson in valuing normal life.

How this one got past the censors is a riddle for the ages. Especially since the creature takes over Ma and Pa Kent. Unwholesome shades of rural cults like the one in Far Cry 5.

This is creepy. The FC5 cult had a bunch of dumb hipsters as it’s leaders. Still one of the most disappointing games I’ve played.
