First off, wow! Impressed you got through the thunder! And yes, this arc was so good for really giving Padme and Bail more meat to their characters. And showing off the new model for Ahsoka. More good stuff and stories to come.

Padme being like "ah i forgot you actually admire the man" (Dooku) But Padme herself probably still trusts and admires Palpatine at this point! They're both wrong, they lack information on both heads of state that would make them change their minds

You guys had a good laugh at senator "Stonk" But perhaps you missed the most brilliant name in this trilogy... senator "halle Burtoni" from Kamino. Like Halliburton

One of my favorite arcs of the show because of how real and relevant it is (but mainly because of how much it portrays Padmè as a badass😂). If you want to learn more about Bail and his ideologies and explore more Star Wars politics, I suggest checking out The Mask of Fear. It’s a pretty new book and explores the lives of Bail, Mon Mothma, and Saw Garerra during the early years of the empires reign. It has a very similar tone and feeling to Andor (something I also think you guys would LOVE and very much recommend watching down the line!)

Inspector Divo is voiced by Tom Kenny, know to most as SpongeBob SquarePants

I presume it's probably been said at some point before, but because TCW was originally conceptualised as an anthology, the story writers would often create a story concept for a one-off episode to fill the gap between larger arcs, like Geonosis and Mandalore, and then later on go "that was cool, let's expand on that". Sometimes it was because characters became popular (Domino Squad for example) or because the writers got the green light to do some more politically complex storytelling as with these batch of episodes.
