Onderon Arc (502-505)

Guys, Saw was not coming onto Ahsoka by saying she help him practice. He's not part of the love triangle thingy. I think he genuinely wanted to learn to throw the popper. About his age, its a bit confusing. Rogue1 is only like 22 years after this, and thats generous, and he looks like a grampa in the movie. I'd say 20 years of warfare probably aged him a ton, and he's around mid-twenties here

To answer Meg's question, Steela didn't kill that last guard who was protecting the king on the cliff edge, she shot the commando droid, but the droid got one shot off as it fell killing the guard. The Saw we see in Rogue One looks really rough. Caleb was said it well, that he kind of mirrors how messed up Vader is physically In Rogue One. He had a janky robot leg, walked with a limp, and was covered in scars. The Rebels also mention in Rogue One that Saw is so much of an extremist that even they can't approach him to talk with him, he'll shoot anyone on sight.

I feel like I recognize the voice from that duplicate rebel girl as like, Smellerbee from ATLA. that's the only thing coming to mind.

Season 5 and 7 are my favorite

George and Dave's idea behind this arc was the Jedi would train all these rebels and freedom fighters on Separatist occupied planets. Eventually the Clone Wars ended and the Empire took over. Eventually Bail Organa and Mon Mothma would unite all these Rebel cells into the Rebel Alliance. Its ironic that the Republic trained these Rebels before it became the Empire which means they unknowingly furthering their future demise. That concept of the Jedi supplying arms to the Rebels to shoot down Droid Gunships is based on the Soviet-Afghan War when the US supplied stinger missiles to the Afghan Mujahideen to push the Soviets out of Afghanistan. Eventually Al-Qaeda would form out of the Mujahideen and attack the very people who helped them win there war with the Russians. Watch the movie Charlie Wilson's War which is the inspiration behind the 4th part of the arc. This is also where the Jedi start to take a step back as generals and more as advisors/peacekeeprs/protectors like they were before the war. in fact Ahsoka told Lux the same thing Qui-Gon told Queen Amidala "I can only protect you but I can't fight a war for you". You said the city looks like Rome and you're right. The design of Onderon is based on Ancient Rome and even the King's design is based on a Caesar.

PumpkinSIut

You’re right! She’s voiced by Nika Futterman who also voices Ventress and many other small roles in the show!

I would suggest you check out Catalyst and Rebel Rising if you are interested in connecting Clone Wars to Rogue One. Not required at all, but good support literature. Oh and Onderon has ties to Legends literature. The Tales of The Jedi comics tells that story. As to what we just watched, what a great growth arc for Ashoka and Lux while setting up Saw for the future. But oh, your reaction to finding out about the relationship between Saw and his sister… just delightful! Why I love watching the reactions!
