I looooove Iron Man 3! It's my fave of the trilogy, which I think is a very unpopular opinion. I just think the twists and turns are so cool, plus its so nice to see a superhero with anxiety 🥹

Sensui the Shinman

ironman 3 is in my opinion the best of the ironman trilogy

I love this one.

Not a knock against you guys at all, but the whole cleaning up your appearance and being accepted is definitely not outdated. And theres definitely nothing wrong with that. Wanting to be better than you are is an admirable goal. I mean you definitely kinda already said he'd be the villain when he had a limp and a cane. Not an insult but we do tend to judge people off of what they look like or how they appear to act. That's pretty messed up of us as a species to do I think. Really it's his head that's sick, which is why a really like this villain actually. He has Trevor act like a terrorist when he himself literally collects Pepper like a trophy, which is something serial killers do.

Mage Reacts

I understand where you’re coming from. I was actually disabled for a time and had to wear a back brace and walk with a cane. There’s definitely a stigma there and I remember being judged/trying to hide it from people so I’d be seen normally. When I saw him I actually didn’t know he had physical disabilities—the “cleaned up” comment was because of the clean hair, suit, looked rich, etc. But yeah the serial killer trophy thing isn’t something I thought about

Mage Reacts

Later in the vid I ask Caleb if he had disabilities… the reason why I said he’s gonna be the villain is because his behavior seemed obsessive and he was crossing boundaries :)

Ah I see I guess I'm all weird and I feel too much sympathy for people, even when they're sick in the head. They werent born that way, and even if they were, they shouldn't immediately be written off as irredeemable monsters. Cause I always daydream about them getting the help they need. But I also did some research on Narcissists, and definitely in Iron Man 1 to the first Avengers, Tony absolutely qualifies for Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Sometimes they aren't just about themselves, they also like molding people in their image. So there's plenty of evidence and traits going against Tony. But after Iron Man 3, he kind of downgrades to an egoist. But hey... progress 😅

Also one other thing, maybe for the end credit scenes, also please help us sync up, even though it's a tiny scene, it's still good to see those reactions to those scenes. And yeah I totally get that the argument during Avengers with Steve and Tony was really coming fill circle in this movie. In Avengers, Tony proved Steve wrong. Tony is the guy to make the sacrifice play. And he proved himself in that he isn't just the suit. Iron Man is in his brain. His intelligence is his real power. Now I need my boy Steve to prove Tony wrong. Yeah physically he is who he is because of a bottle of serum. But thats not what makes him special. His idealism and strength in character is why he was chosen for the serum. Thats Captain America.

Is this the only way you will be posting reactions from now on? In watch a long format without the movies included within your reaction? If so, that's too bad. I understand of course, but I hate watch a long formatted reactions. Far too many issues.

HeroesKey

I'm not sure if watch alongs will be the norm now for reactions but if it is, I definitely appreciate the countdown in the beginning for syncing up. Personally I prefer the video on the screen and audio playing even if the screen is blurry or translucent like for the youtube reactions. Mostly cause I've ran into too many issues with syncing and audio issues. But if this is what works best for you guys for now or at least for the time being, I can try to make it work on my end, A countdown like in the beginning and/or a timer would also be very helpful for future reactions if you guys are gonna be doing watch alongs from now on

y’all radiate so much positivity and joy, this is a special universe and i’m glad ur loving it so far. i’ve seen these films forwards and backwards so many times, if u have any questions or are looking for comic book suggestions, i’d love to help. highly recommend the invincible iron man (2004-2007) it’s actually about extremis! also fun fact! the skydiving sequence was 100% real and done by a professional team.
