J

Oh maaaan, I got a cat on my lap and the laptop is on the other side of the room... This is a dilemma

I'm actually really excited to see what you guys think. Also congrats finishing up Phase 2 with this movie. Phase 3 is going to be a fun and emotional ride and it has some of my favorite movies from Marvel so can't wait!!

FearTheTREMOR

Ahhhhhhh. Both Ant-Man and Ant-Man and The Wasp are my faaaave MCU movies!!! Close runner-ups are Captain America Winter Soldier, Captain America First Avenger, Iron Man 1, and Endgame, but the Ant-Man films just do something for me, hit all the right buttons /shrug - Thanks Guys

Something that actually struck me is the family dynamics with Scott, Maggie, and Paxton, is that in the beginning, they all had solid points, but everyone was drawing hard lines in the sand. Like yeah, as a parent, Scott needs to be able to pull his weight as an ex con, otherwise he can't see his daughter. Thats a valid expectation. But it's a birthday party, and it's definitely important for a child to see their parents on their birthday. So they know they are loved and supported and can count on them. But everyone was in their own corner. No comprise was made thanks to the animosity with Scott and Paxton. Hope and Hank were great as well. Hank admitted his sin, and Hope released her hatred and let herself make peace, which deep down, I'm sure she wanted. Also I kind of get what you're saying about masculinity. But there are good sides of being masculine. Like Superman, you've got a good point, but Steve is totally different. Yes he's buff, but his personality is what really makes him a hero. Not just the muscles. I think you missed that since he comes off as a "goober" towards you. But his determination, belief in people, doing the right thing, selflessness, and desire to protect. Those are good qualities that ideally, all men (really all people) have. But sadly they get lost. But that's why Marvel is great. People like Steve remind you of the best of humanity, and inspire you to be the best of yourself. Ant Man, love in family, healing and forgiveness. I could go on but I'd have a college paper written out if I did. 😅 Also, tiny thing about Odin, but I think that really other than apologizing for lying, he needs to accept Loki. That goes for Thor too. Like they keep expecting the best of him (which isn't bad, mind you) but they deny him when he chooses the wrong thing. Thor has consistently loved Loki, but not accepted his flaws. Loki feels unloved because of the lies. Which is completely valid. He feels like Asgard isn't home, and he responds to feeling like he's in Thors shadow by just raising hell. If Thor and Odin would just love him, then Loki wouldn't feel pressured to change, and he wouldn't rebel. Cause love is what he wants, and he's had it, but Odin just needs to change the way he shows it now because that's what Loki needs. Just something I thought of these past few days. See you guys next time! 💗

I love how Stan Lee made all these marvel characters just try to live normal lives while juggling all the crazy stuff they deal with, their regular people and that’s what I love even if they have abilities like Thor, Daredevil or Spider-Man they still have family problems , relationship problems etc

Mage Reacts

Train cat to use laptop, problem solved 😎

Mage Reacts

I was not expecting it to become my favorite super hero movie of all time, yet here we are 🤷🏻‍♂️ - Caleb/the other 🐜🙋🏻‍♂️

Mage Reacts

Stan Lee made himself immortal through these characters 🥹 he became a superhero himself

Narutoanime16

He will always be my favorite person :( he is the real hero

Stan was very much a very big mouth/personality who liked fame, celebrity, the limelight, and his fandom a little too much… His biggest claim to fame was re-writing a few early stories in a faux Shakespearian style/adding ''real'' teen/adult drama to Spider-Man specifically. Not taking anything away from him at all, without him and his many contributions, Marvel would've very much petered out and quick... Hell; it's very much a known fact, that without Stan’s words on the pages of those first stories his wife told him to do whatever the Hell he wanted with/write the way he wanted to, the company would've failed and died right there'n then in the 1960s. Not to mention his catchy quips, nicknames (his naming conventions in general really) and the way he just made people and villains just so darned relatable.. He was also a great ‘‘adman’’ for the company to boot, very much due to his great innate charm… I grew up with Stan, and all the cool things he left for fans in the backs of comics, and the cool way he would talk to us through the pages, but yeah, a big -often clashing- personality that sometimes had a hard time sharing. I still Love him for who he was and what he gifted us but can still acknowledge his flaws… I will always miss him terribly. Here's a list of the original giants who's shoulders he semi stood upon to lift the company up: https://comicvine.gamespot.com/marvel-bullpen/4060-58234/ Each and everyone of them and their contributions are very well worth a lookup, BUT if we're splitting hairs the GOATs pretty much are: Steve Ditko (not featured in the link), Larry Lieber, Jack Kirby, and Joe Simon (not featured either) …. - Nuff said.

I don't know if you noticed the tattoo on one of the HYDRA people but it was the ten rings (same guys who kidnapped Tony). Just a little Easter egg. Loved this reaction guys!

Earth Angel Shelbs

so excited for u guys to move into phase 3!! w/ the thing about peggy and if she was aware of hydra, in the winter soldier they explain that when operation paperclip took place and zola was recruited, he created a “new hydra” secretly inside shield so while peggy was probably aware that “former” hydra scientists were recruited for strategic value, i don’t think she had any idea that hydra was actually operating within shield. there were a lot of people at shield who had no idea it been compromised like even nick fury and maria hill didn’t know. highly recommend agent carter tho!! so glad u loved ant-man, it’s one of my favorites.

Mage Reacts

Thanks for sharing, Doug! I didn’t know a lot of this stuff. It’s good to know the more human aspects of him…somehow makes me appreciate him even more 😂 and excites me to read more about the OGs of comic history! Hell yeah - Caleb

Mage Reacts

We love a good Easter egg! Thank you!!!

Mage Reacts

It seem these secret hydra agents had crazy stealth skills 😂 But for real, the fact that they could fool Peggy makes sense with them fooling Nick and Hill. We will definitely get to Agent Carter at some point 👀

Tony Nav

did you guys watch agents of shield?

Dani

YAAAAASSS CIVIL WAR IS NEXT! it's my second favorite MCU movie and I'm super pumped!

Dani

Don't mind me, just refreshing to see if you'll surprise us with an early Civil War drop.
