We need Halloween HELP!!! (Patreon)

Hey y’all, Caleb here!

It’s scary season. The sad thing about scary season is that neither Meg nor I have seen many of the most iconic scary season scary movies.

So! In the spirit of being horrified, I thought it would be a fun idea to pick your brains on what horror movies we should react to. Here’s what I’m thinking…we come up with a list of movies, narrow it down to 5-10 we haven’t seen, and then you guys vote in a Patreon-exclusive poll to decide which one/s we watch by the end of the month.

So, with that, dear patrons…what are a few of your favorite horror movies you’d like to watch with us??

Definitely gonna recommend Sinister. It's very different from horror in that it's not just jumpscares that makes it scary. It genuinely unsettles you and freaked me the hell out first time I saw it. Plus it's got Ethan Hawke in it, that's always a plus lol 😂

I’d say Halloween 2018 if you haven’t seen than & the next one, but also definitely watch the first original Halloween movie too & then the Jason movies

scream (1996) is one of my favorite movies of all time like it’s more than just a slasher, it’s a mystery but also has amazing social commentary. there’s also the new werewolf by night MCU halloween special, it’s the first real horror project they’ve done and it’s a completely separate special like it has no connections/spoilers to the greater MCU! also, if you’re interested in some of the og marvel movies: blade is very fun!

Ooooo, let's see. I'm quite a horror newbie too, it's only been this last year or so I've been diving into it a bit more. Here's a few of my faves so far: - Cabin in the Woods - Scream - Midsommar (although I dunno if I could watch it again 😂 but absolutely needs to be watched) - Tremors - Sixth Sense - Misery

Scream (the original 90s one) Leprechaun (the original not the reboot) I know what you did last summer Tucker and Dale vs evil Evil dead 2 (it basically retcons the first movie so you don't need to watch the first one)

Yeah but the Marvel Intro spoils stuff so not sure they should watch it, or just skip over the Marvel intro. But think about it, there is spoilery stuff in the Marvel intro that they don't know about yet.

If you guys do watch Werewolf by Night, I just realized that the Marvel intro contains spoilers. So if you watch it, I would not look while that plays or skip over it since it's like 15 seconds. But they update that intro and there are things you will get spoiled on if you happen to look at them while watching.

They do recap the first movie, but it drastically changes stuff that happened in the first movie, and ash himself is a very different character
