the problem is that like 6 people wrote this movie, brie is an amazing actress and she got so much unnecessary hate especially from a lot of fanboys but the dialogue and writing in this kinda makes her come across as wooden and rlly stoic. i think her character can only rlly be executed well if it’s written correctly and in this movie it wasn’t.

i think you’ll be happy with phase 4, they had A LOT more freedom to show queer characters and stories.

kinda silly to expect carol and maria to be lovers when you already see maria has a daughter. it's pretty lame that same-sex best friends give you guys such a hangup.

those moments in phase 4 were brief and provided zero meaningful plot details. figured you should know now before you scoff at another on-screen family
