The Amazing Webhead

A important episode as we got Talia and Ra’s al ghul in the show. A thing that is overlooked but this episode was actually world building of the larger DC universe because the villain Count Vertigo is actually a recurring enemy of the hero, Green Arrow. ^^

Ps I hope we get a running gag of Meg annoyed when Talia calls Bruce “beloved” lol. I actually haven’t watch the video yet but I had to say it. 😂

The original comics featuring Ra’s and Talia (collected in Batman: Tales of the Demon, by Dennis O’Neil and Neal Adams) are a good depiction (and some of the best Batman comics ever made). Also Batman: Birth of the Demon (which collects Son of the Demon, Bride of the Demon, and Birth of the Demon) by Mike Barr, Dennis O’Neil, and various artists also has a very good depiction!

Now that I seen the reaction I will say that there are reasons why Bruce & Talia are not as loved as his other romances but one of them is a spoiler. Not for the show but for the comics. There are good comics of their romance & Talia does love Bruce but she will always choose to follow her father’s goals. At the end of the day even not endgame, Bruce’s true love is always Selina since the 40’s as while she’s a thief, she does love Bruce as he brings out the good in her. A example being how she decided to save him in Arkham City.

Taila is really not the one for Bruce. She's always been so complicated when it comes to deciding who's side she's really on as you just saw yourself here. His true love has always been Selina.

Its funny I always thought the opposite even tho I love Selina a lot more than Talia she's not my fav but bruce has been with lots and lots of women as both bruce and batman

Thing is he's never connected with any of them the way he always did with Selina and she always knew him best.

Talia in the DCAU is probably my favorite. The other iterations of her in the comics, I don't really care for her. For one, I just hate how toxic Talia and Bruce's relationship is in the comics. It's one of the reasons why I love Selina and Bruce together cause even though Selina likes to play with Bruce a lot, she still cares about him. I'm so happy that since you finished the Arkham series, we're going full on into the DCAU now, especially since you're so close to finishing season 1 and even closer to finishing season 1 of STAS. I'm so ready for more!

Villain with a trippy headache-inducing power, but he's just an excuse to introduce us to Talia, her romance with Batman, and her father. Arkham didn't have much time to develop Talia, merely giving us a macrocosm of most villains' past histories, but she's considered Bats' other major love interest besides Selina, always torn between loyalty to him and loyalty to her father. Too bad the latter usually wins out. I like how Vertigo makes it seem like Batman is outmatched by the Society of Shadows- this is an ancient conspiracy that's a few levels above his usual costumed crazies.

I like seeing you get to see how certain relationships batman has had be built up as said in previous comments the arkham games were well into bruce's career as batman such as here he's well into his batman career but he still has Dick as robin. Seeing how mutually attracted Talia and Bruce were to each other at first in comparison to when he met Selina I think is interesting. Definately looking forward to more of your thoughts on her and Ra's cause while Ra's may not be the best dad that you've seen so far in other things he does hold a respect for Batman and his daughter its a very estranged surrogate family member type thing being built
