Something to note in this episode is in the flashback of Earl’s story, Batman is wearing a different suit. An early version of the Batsuit. The Batmobile in flashback is also different and it actually resembles one of the early iterations of the Batmobile in the comics

Background story to the Batmobile. Penguin's design was based around the Danny DeVito Penguin of the then-recent Batman Returns movie, but here he also borrows the rubber ducky and the plan to steal control of Batman's car. More everyday heroism from Earl Cooper; I always like that.

I like that they showed who fixes the car cause yea Bruce has all the money but who would you find to fix Batman’s car that’s a great job
