Love Zatanna, There's actually a poster of her in Arkham Origins for "An amazing Magic Show" similar to how you can find a poster for The Gray Ghost in Arkham Knight.

2026-09-19 17:00 A big episode because this is the first time in the show where Batman meets another hero in the larger DC universe, Zatanna. A great character who is a major player in the Justice League over the decades, almost had a movie that would had been release in a few years but they pulled the plugged on it, & part of a supernatural team which hope you’ll see one day. ^^

It’s wild to me how I’m just realizing that the first ever superhero crossover in the entire DC Animated Universe, before ever Bats and Supes, was this: Batman and Zatanna. Wild.

Been a bit since the last BTAS episode but so happy we’re back to it! Zatanna is one of my favorite characters in the DC universe and she is a pretty important character, especially in the comics. Also I just realized the next episode is the two part Robin episode and I’m so excited for you to watch them! All I will say is that part 1 won the series a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program. So the next episode is gonna be an amazing one and another personal favorite of mine

Standard episode formula, but it is notable for being the start of what will come to be known as the DCAU, introducing heroes other than Batman or his sidekicks into his series. The first, but hardly the last magician character to be introduced, and another piece of Bruce's past training to become Batman similar to Night of the Ninja.

Yeah, Zatanna is a magical character, in more ways than one! Lol 🎩🪄

Zatanna was always such a cool badass magician lady!😍😁🎩🪄

in the comics, and pretty much every other show she appears in, zatanna just does straight up magic. also her father zatarra, is a very old character, introduced in the late 30s, around the same time as batman and superman. Also meg saying "batman doesnt have many love interests" made me chuckle, because oh boy is she wrong, batman has more love interests than almost anyone else in comics
