The Amazing Webhead

Good reaction and now you met another enemy of Batman from the lore, Maxie Zeus. He is another villain that is more obscure as most hardcore fans know about him. He has popped up in some comics from time to time. He isn’t my favorite but has a interesting background of believing he’s Zeus. I remember seeing him in another Batman cartoon and like Scarface, didn’t appear in the Arkham games but you do see a nightclub he owns in Arkham City showing that Batman crossed paths with him in that universe.

Boy I tell ya this Maxie Zeus guy was really sick in the head thinking he actually was THE Zeus of Mount Olympus from Greek mythology. Ya know the Disney's Hercules version of Zeus was never that crazy.

While not my favorite of characters/villains in Batman's rogues gallery, Maxie Zeus is definitely still an interesting villain. Much like The Ventriloquist/Scarface. I can't believe you have now watched 60 episodes of this show. We're very very close to the end of the first season and I'm so hyped. Also I've said so many times already but I can't wait for Mask of the Phantasm

For the time this came out after the Burton movie and 66 batman they really cover a lot especially showing the mental illness of all the characters between Batman, two favce, Max Zeues and the doll maker guy it really tells a lot. and congrats on getting to 60 eps of BTAS! Your gonna loove the next few and in Superman S2

A weak episode but it had a few interesting ideas, like Batman and his rogues becoming mythical figures akin to gods, probably as close to it as a human can get. Maxie is often considered something of a joke villain but he does get a more serious and threatening appearance in the next animated series, 'The Batman'. Shadow of the Bat and MOTP are both excellent, and more traditional Batman stories. I'm sure you'll enjoy them.

Yeah, Shirley Walker’s score of this series is one of my many favorite things about this show! The music really emphasizes the themes and feel of each episode. Every now and then, I’ll be going about my business and I’ll just start humming one of her character themes too. Just one of the many amazing things about this series 😁

You do see Maxie's cell at Arkham Asylum game, with all the Greek symbols lol
