reminder - when starting S3E7, do not watch the opening credit sequence! (there's a casting spoiler)

Jonny shaw

I've been checking my emails on and off for the past few days hoping to see the notification in my inbox. Absolutely FIZZING to watch these with you, just two hours of work left to go :D

Zachery Gaskins

Also, there IS an Expanse TTRPG, published by Green Ronin!

Phil Rademacher

YAS!!! Late here, but these are my all-time favorite episodes in audiovisual history, so no sleep.

Mage Reacts

I'm obsessed with how different Wes and Cara are from their characters!

Zachery Gaskins

Oh yeah, the significance of being introduced to Bobbie arm-wrestling her own armor, and in the end she has to do it again to aim her gun at the hybrid

Made the same comment on YouTube, but I've been (not-so) patiently waiting for this moment since you started the Expanse 9 months ago. Everytime you mentioned your love for Amos & Prax's relationship, I smiled thinking about how you'd react to this episode. You did not disappoint, you wonderful woman. ❤️

Aldo Cassola

To be a little more charitable to JP Mao (a little): He is the only one that recognizes the protomolecule and alien life as game changers, and is one of the few trying steer people away from the old conflicts and try something new. Sure, he'll make money, although he's already a trillionaire or whatever. But some people just need to own shit :). Anyway fuck Mao. Second on the Expanse TTRPG.

Well, maybe I'll watch later, but I still can't figure out why commenters told her to watch these 2 together. The 5th, not the 6th is still my favorite of the first half of S3. Oh well...

DaftBasterd

I assume it's because it concludes Book 2 and is a good info/story dump to watch together before the beginning of Book 3 since it's such a quick two episodes!

DaftBasterd

Aaaand that's the end of Book 2! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT IT STILLLLLLLL GETS EVEN BETTER FROM HERE?! It's insane. Thank you for such wonderful reactions and insight as always. Excited to see your reaction to the wild ride of Book 3 next!

Nice comments about Terry Chen (Prax) as an actor, and his portrayal as a father. It's insteresting to note that a lot of roles he takes on in other shows/movies is as an assasin.

Dragonfly Dan

Good job Meg! Thanks for doing both episodes at once..

This is Zurik 23M tribute to Cotyar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ajO_Sf4gwE (spoiler free!) Also fun little tidbit: in the books they describe some of the Roci's journey back to Ganymede and for fun there is a scene where Amos and Bobbie are tossing Mei back and forth in zero G and she is just squealing and laughing the whole time. Sounds amazing!

Deana DeWall

I love Zurick's TE videos. I've watched them so many times, I lost count.

Congrats on finishing book 2 Meg! I think Mao's motivation was both Meg, he want's to solve to mystery of the protomolecule and he's done so many terrible things, he might as well finish the experiment (according to his awful logic), and also yes profit. He also wants all the money from the discovery. So both. Also the music that plays when Amos says "You're not that guy." It's such beautiful music. I really think that's Amos's theme music. It always plays when Amos is doing something important.
