Its so funny Condiment king is an actual character lol and I just feel bad for Joker even tho it was a ruse he tried to be funny at a legit event but didn't even sign up for it to begin with. Killing Joke is generally considered cannon, even in that you never hear his real name being said you just see the events that made him joker

The war doesn’t stop until the time vampires realize how many lives they’ve destroyed just by existing, as I get revenge. Equality and peace are theoretical until they all see the black and white in the gray. They are proof that it is more than ok to judge everyone. It’s too easy, it happens by itself in fractions of a second; fun too. But I’ve never been willing or able to waste my time restoring the vision of a time vampire who’s also slowly killing me. Always shocking is they’re willingness to discard someone else’s just because they can, and always committed by people who don’t have their own interests other that paying rent and loving a job they hate, and telling kids they can’t do things when their jealous of anyone who has potential of any type. If someone slayed a few in public, I wouldn’t snitch.I hate them

I said this on your Batman vs Superman reaction but I do really appreciate you giving us this many DC reactions recently when I know you have other shows and movies that you also have to get to. So I’m glad you’ve been in a Batman mood lately. As for the Killing Joke, most of the events of that story are considered canon. Only 3 more episodes left of what is technically S3 of BTAS but 8 episodes left in total for Max's S2. I'm also excited for the next STAS reaction and whenever you start Green Lantern The Animated Series. Gosh so much DC content and I'm so here for it!

'If I have to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple choice!' -Joker Fittingly a very funny and silly episode. Naturally the Silver Age has given Batman some ridiculous villains who couldn't be taken seriously even in this show, but it's nice for some of them to get tributes here. Looking forward to Showdown and A Bullet For Bullock.

Yeah I guess this episode was loosely based off The Killing Joke, but it was only a year ago.. he just wanted to do some stand-up haha. If you remember from Mask of the Phantasm, it was revealed that the Joker had been a hitman for the mob, and that was a good while before Bruce became Batman. Then he forms his own gang, stages the robbery at Ace Chemical, gets stopped by Batman, falls into the chemical waste = Joker is born! It's probably worth remembering that the DCAU whilst being pretty faithful to the source material, does it's own thing sometimes: similar to the movies. For example, there have been several version's of how the Justice League was formed, both the show and the movie are different to each other. Another good example is Batman and Superman's first meeting, that's been retconned about 8 times now, and that's just in the comics. Always happy to see more of these!

Love ur reactions as always and im sure youve been told this but yes u definitely have to finish season “2” of batman BEFORE continuing superman animated cuz ur only a handful of episodes away from the batman crossover on superman and you will definitely be confused with different characters being present that u haven’t caught up to.
