They recast the actor who plays Chrisjen's husband Arjun. The original actor from season one Brian George probably wasn't available, he's in a lot of shows so he might have been too busy. I miss the old Arjun, Brian George gave off a more friendly vibe than the new actor. This is the first time they mentioned the name "Marco Inaros" so you didn't miss anything Meg. And yes that actor who plays Murtry is almost always is a villain. He was a bad guy in The Dark Knight Rises, he was the lackey to the corporate bad guy who worked for bane. He was a killer in Game of Thrones. Although he did play a good guy in Pacific Rim as a dorky scientist.

"This is the first time they mentioned the name Marco Inaros..." Not quite. Fred Johnson refers to him at the beginning of the OPA Conclave in S2E7, along with the names of the other factions present. (And if you go back to S1E3 and pause the video at the moment MCRN Lieutenant Lopez brings up Naomi's rap sheet on the interrogation table, he's there too.)

Yay, Meg's back! 🎉 Bummer that all your editors are so busy with other projects, but glad you're still able to make time for this show. Yeah, as you surmised, Marco is Naomi's ex and the father of her son Filip; she's mentioned him, but not by name. You'll learn more about him soon, though, as you can probably imagine. It's easy to see the events of this season -- and others -- as an allegory for current events, even though this was all written and filmed long before our current world conflicts (or, perhaps I should say the current iteration of them) began. I would love to credit the writers for their clairvoyance, their prophetic vision, but I think the reality is that they are just astute observers of human nature and our remarkable ability to get ourselves into violent conflicts over disagreements, real or imagined. Most of the running plots are based on historical events and the mistakes human beings have made in the past... and, unfortunately, continue to make. Sad, isn't it? It can be cathartic, too, though, and these kinds of stories can teach us things too (as you mentioned) -- they can help us to understand today's real world conflicts from multiple perspectives. Certainly couldn't hurt...

Amos’ hypothesis is that the landing pad was blown up (not the shuttle itself), and that debris from the explosion hit the shuttle.

Well it's the first time they mention first name right? Don't they just refer to them as the "Inaros Faction" during that conclave? Although I never caught that rap sheet mention in season 1, that's cool.

Yes, Chrisjen is one with her work, so her way of showing affection is to hook you up with political favors. She doesn't know any other way.
