I think this is one of the best BTAS episodes ever. Truly

Beautiful episode, Bullock is a good guy at the end of the day, just a bit crooked

My clean anxiety was showing this episode lmao but I really love how we get to see inside one of the cops lives cause I mean not all of em have families some live by themselves and don't do much relationships which is a real life thing and I like that this episode pretty much showed you never know how someone else feels unless you ask em and you should always try to treat people with respect lol Bullock just came home with mud on his shoes it stressed out the landlord so bad lmao that cracks me up

If someone is “on the take” it means they are taking bribes

Definitely another one of the best episodes of this series that focuses on Harvey Bullock. This is why I love this show cause they can even write a whole episode on Bullock who I never really cared much for. I’m also with you on loving the jazz music in this. So catchy and very noir

Great jazzy noir-style episode centering on Harvey Bullock forming an odd couple duo with Batman. I like how it approaches things from both sides- on one hand Bullock puts out all the signs of being your stereotypical corrupt cop, the kind that Batman despises. On the other he shouldn't have to put on a fake smile and pretend to be someone he isn't. It's clear he chooses to be alone, either from a Batman-esque dread of what might happen to any other person he cares for with his career or just a discomfort from spending too much time around a large number of other people (can relate).

If you want to read more about the people of Gotham and the Police Department, I reccomend reading Gotham Nights, GCPD, and Gotham Central. Arkham Asylum: Living Hell is also pretty good, centered on the inmates of Arkham👍

I definitely liked the dramatic jazzy music in this episode! Also Bullock can be an unlikable fag sometimes but he's still always been a good cop who's always had Gordon's back. Also it looked like Renee Montoya was finally promoted to detective.
