Do over, Lola! Do over!

Happy New Year everyone!! I'm gonna miss Frieren Fridays :( But before that... So when I was a kid, I used to have a hobby of writing mostly funny rap lyrics and parodies. But for LM's final S1 Frieren episode, I thought I'd try writing something a bit different. I don't really make YT videos (4th one in 14 years lol), but this was pretty fun. An AI program helped me with the music. Hope you enjoy! https://youtu.be/b9auVSDeh3s (For closed captions/subtitles, just click the CC icon)

don't be sad it's over, be happy the journey is really just beginning <3 I had never heard of it before I watched the show last year, and I'm so glad I did. It's also one of my favorites now, and I can't wait for what the rest of the series has in store. also, it doesn't qualify for the replacement show here, but I am going to start campaigning for Fruits Basket (2019) to get on here sometime. So many things you loved in this show - exploration of themes, emotion, relationships, great female characters, having tragic elements but ultimately being hopeful- are all things that Fruits Basket brings to the table. <3

THE PAIN. It's blocked. Start with Full Reaction :D

One of my favorite quotes from Frieren is “people won’t know how you feel unless you tell them” and because of that I just wanted to say this channel means so much to me! I found your videos during a very sad time in my life and it gave me something to look forward to, and I have received so much joy from watching your reactions. So thank you both so much for everything and I hope you keep doing this for a long time! P.S please watch A Place Further than the Universe. It’s the one show you might love almost as much as Frieren

Michael Cannon

Okay but hear me out, episode one-four/intro movie rewatch next friday?? Patreon exclusive?? Give the people what they want.

Happy Final Frieren Friday!!! And you alright? Can you hear me... ? 😭

sand_fl

last frieren friday for the foreseeable future i'm afraid. it was good while it lasted. i'll prepare the popcorn and the tissues once i get home 😂 also, thanks again for recommending such great shows, probably another show i would have never watched if it weren't for the reactions. Loved it so much i got a tattoo about it and i'm considering getting another (though probably smaller and more hidden 🤣)

Lola cursed it because she uploaded Frieren before Haikyuu. It tore up the space-time continuum.

My Toasty Toast

Man it’s going to be so embarrassing when we see Frieren and her kids again

Ninaly

On my hands and knees for an Ep 1 rewatch (An Ep1-4 is even better but I dare not greed)

REASONS TO WATCH AND REACT TO FRUITS BASKET: The series is a masterclass in exploring emotions. It beautifully balances heartwarming moments with deeply emotional and cathartic scenes. The show heavily focuses on the idea of forming meaningful bonds outside of one’s biological family, which is central to the series’ emotional appeal (similar to frieren and violet evergarden in that aspect). The show transcends genres, blending slice-of-life, fantasy, romance, and drama, which makes it appealing to a wide audience. AND ITS A FINISHED ANIME!!!!!!!!!!!

I completely agree with you about A Place Further Than The Universe, but if we watch it immediately after Frieren, we no longer have a Happy show for them to watch alongside Monster. :D

YESS!! ALSO FEMALE MC who is absolutely the best

I've been hoping for Fruits Basket for a while now so YES 😍 I hope it gets to see the light on this channel eventually

Aris

Tearful goodbyes may not be Himmel's style but they sure are mine

My Toasty Toast

This show started airing right around when AoT ended so it came at the perfect time and I am so glad I had an excuse to watch it all over again here

So what's going to replace Frieren? I really hope it's Bocchi the Rock or Chainsaw Man.

beannieswife

no more frieren friday, I’m gonna throw up💔

Nyeisha Melvina Clark

End of an Era ladies, but I loved watching you guys fall in love with this show and its characters, we all knew it was the perfect show for you guys. Now the wait for Season 2 begins!!!!!!

Daniel Molina

If you think this show is good now…just wait till the upcoming manga arcs are animated…you will UGLY cry 😬

Lychee

Yeah, Fruits Basket is one of my favourites! I'd campaign for 'March Comes Like a Lion' but wouldn't mind Fruits Basket. There are some aspects that didn't age well and I'm sure girls would have some gripes with them but overall in a bigger picture they are minor. They would overlook those like in Violet Evergarden.

Sebastian

well judging by the thumbnail i guess they didn’t take himmel’s sage advice about goodbyes!

JAMES D'ALESSANDRO

Please replace this with Apothecary Diaries Fridays. 24 episode season 1 was as amazing as Frieren and season 2 starts thus week.

cosmotron
>>160218658

Yeah, I feel the same way. Considering the manga came out in the 90s its actually aged remarkably well, and the stuff that doesn't is very few and far between.

bondbond53

Please watch Delicious in Dungeon or Neon Genesis Evangelion. Both one season shows brimming with positivity and good vibes

I would love that! Apothecary Diaries is such a great show! Sadly, I learned that season 2 being upon us hurts us for this show’s slot. The episode count will no longer fall under the short anime list…

Brogan

Himmel: tearful goodbyes aren't our style Lola: *cries harder*

omg I also want them to watch A Place Further than the Universe! I always cry to that!!!!! it's the one anime that made me cry MULTIPLE TIMES in one year

This chapter really is the perfect finale for a season. We don't need a big pompous, tearful finale. It would be embarrassing if we met again, when Season 2 comes out :D

stfucedric
>>160220954

I hope they see this, getting both those shows airing at the same time made for a peak season. I know they'll love Apothecary
