I have a suggestion before the next short anime poll. Maybe you can watch an anime movie before starting the next short anime?

Isaac

Whole next short block should really be like 6 movies in 12 weeks. It's what the people want!

refo44
>>160218984

I disagree. This slot is for short anime shows not for movies. It would be unfair.

Isaac
>>160218984

@refo44 that's why I suggested the slot length. They received popular support and 12 weeks is our definition of Short slot

Isaac
>>160218984

I don't think that's asking for much. It's one movie every 2 weeks for 12 weeks. It's just a matter of their interest.

refo44
>>160218984

They don't like to watch movies, they already had said several times they prefer shows. They will only maybe make the effort monthly or once every 6 months to be honest. So for them to react weekly to movie is totally unrealistic

Jeffrey Navia

man I'm really gonna miss Frieren Fridays. that was a fun run. I hope you guys include A Place Further than the Universe in your queue! it's very wholesome and heartwarming!

Isaac
>>160218984

There was also a time where they weren't interested in anime, at all! To be honest, I didn't think they disliked movies, that way. I may have misread them

refo44
>>160218984

If I suggest instead they use one of the weekly slot from long anime to watch anime movies people would say is unfair. This also will be equally unfair for the people who want them to react to short animes

Now we need to convince the girls to watch Yuri on Ice, Run with the Wind, Given, or Kids on the Slope.

My girlfriend still hasn't come to terms with the trauma when Mappa canceled the production of Yuri on Ice Season 2/Movie. :D

Nancchi

Bro, I’ve only shed one tear during this episode. I rewatch it with y’all and Lola had me crying through the whole damn thing lmaooo

Nancchi
>>160222222

This one! It’s underrated with the reaction community but kind of well known with the “diamond in the rough” community

Elli
>>160225534

It's truly absurd. One of the most popular anime of the century, and yet it just gets shut down for seemingly zero reason after years of delays. It ends in a really good place, but it's a lot like HxH where I love where the anime ends, but knowing it could go so much further makes me yearn for it. At least with HxH I have the manga. lol

Really hope they watch spirited away at some point! Movies don’t have to replace the next short anime slot but I hope we can get 1 or 2 movies per month or something in the future

you can see how devastating Lernen is with his spells and how powerful he is. He would definitely have a high chance to defeat Frieren in battle. His spells completely destroyed her defense spells like they were flimsy glass where every other spell before had been completely blocked.
