You two need to watch a romance anime at some point. In my opinion Fruits basket is the perfect pick after you finish Jujutsu Kaisen. Unfortunately it got last place on the previous poll with like 6 percent. So if u ever wanna watch it don’t bother putting it on a poll the best choice would be to make an executive decision and start it on your own. I’m not really a fan of romance but there are definitely some good ones out there that I think the two of you would enjoy.

I like how this episode confirms Mahito could literally heal any disease in humankind if he used his powers for good for once lol. "I'm living by the same standards of people I hate" is indeed a line i really liked in this episode. I'm glad you mentioned it.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this before (or if you’re doing it already), but from here on out I’d recommend watching the Blu-Ray version if you can find access to it somehow (I think on Crunchyroll they have it?), it’s really worth it!!

I haven't watched fruits basket but I agree! I would love for a romance only poll some day. Kimi ni todoke is another one they would really enjoy, or skip and loafer for a shorter option. Unfortunately I don't think those shows have a big fan base in this community :'/

@MJ I don't think it's about Fruits Basket not being a really good option for them to watch and more like romance is not really the main genre of that anime? Fruitd Basket is a really good anime but romance is not why people really love the show. (At least that's why I think they meant)

It never seemed to me like the first and second parts of this episode fit together but it should have been obvious that both the Human Earthworm and Ozawa are symbolically equivalent to Mechamaru.

It's a shame that the Blu-ray version still doesn't capture the animators' initial vision largely due to Mappa's production schedule.

The first half of this episode is soooo cuteee I love these children sm... also the horrified looks on your faces during the intro was so funny😭 I love rewatching shows so much because it wasn't like I didn't comprehend any of this on my first and second watch... I can't explain this it might just be the LM effect of making me care about a show 10x more than I thought I did. Unimportant little rant but yes I can't wait for the next episode. Megumi IS one of the girls.
