slipHAZARD

Hey thanks past me, I'm drunk and totally forgot I made that post. If future me reads this don't try anything because I already know what you've done.

sand_fl

i was actually about to read for a bit while i waited for this. will still wait for the edited so i can watch the intro first anyway. so exited and sad that we're here.

Pulp

lets go

cosmotron

So sad it’s over but so happy to have seen you both go through the emotional journey of this series. ❤️ I’ve said it before, but I highly encourage checking out the manga. There’s a short extra chapter that takes place post series that shows what Al decides to do with the leftover bits of armor, and it gives you all the Ed/Al/Winry feelings. There are a lot of great little extra things like that in the manga that make it even better.

Leo

Doesnt load for me :(

Leo

If anyone can post the link of the video itself in the comments would appreciate it, or dm it to me :)

ian

I don't think you should react to it on your channel but I think you will like the original anime even if it is no where near as good. Plus it is all you're ever gonna get more from these characters

sand_fl

these last episodes didn't load in ny tablet but i thought it was because my ipad is ancient 😂😂 i usually see the reaction in the tablet with the episode in my phone but the last 3 episodes i had to do it the other way around, not sure why

Leo

Weird, this was the only one that didnt work for me, thx again!

Throughly enjoyed watch ing thus again with y'all . 03 anime will always be tops for me, though I understand those who prefer brotherhood, it's definitely more hopeful in tone. 03 was actually supposed to get a 12 to 13 ep epluogue, but due to budget being pushed towards this new version it got a truncated xhoppt y 2 n 30 min mess, kinda ignore it in my head cannon tbh. Though the fma brotherhood film star of Milo's is pretty good.

Ten

Can’t watch right now but I’m excited and sad at the same time to watch it lol.

rrrebo

This video link is broken. :(

Seth

Can’t wait for the bloopers

Tacoface

Please watch the full metal alchemist brotherhood bloopers

BBT

Ed and Winry are keeping the Xerxes bloodline alive

Merfhew

I hope they'll react to the 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist anime on their channel. Just, not right now. Perhaps in a year or two? I'd love to see that.

Merfhew

As other people have suggested, I hope you'll react to the "bloopers" video.  You can watch them in HD here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=g3aFPN2dEOA I think you'd also enjoy watching the "Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood - 4-Koma Theater" anime shorts.  There are 16 in total, each less than 2 minutes long.  I've included a link to a Reddit thread where you can watch them: https://www.reddit.com/r/FullmetalAlchemist/comments/es40no/i_made_a_place_to_watch_the_fmab_ovas_bloopers/

ian

The bloopers are cringe dont watch them

Pablo

I know it's a long shot but it would be amazing if you reacted to Fullmetal alchemist 2003. I'm sure you would love it and it would be spending more time with this characters. It must be nostalgia but I like that version very much even if it is flawed

Cece

What? The bloopers are so funny and kinda cheer you up aftef finishing the show :D

Daolord Badlands

Now I could be wrong since I only vaguely remember the 03 version, but isn't it WAY darker than Brotherhood?

Gangster Pikachu

I absolutely loved everything about Brotherhood but I think FMA 2003 has a more interesting ending.

cosmotron

I get what people mean when they say 03 is 'darker', but I also kinda don't agree. Or at least, the way BH/the manga deals with its darker aspects makes those things have more impact in my opinion. In the 03 version, there were a lot of 'dark' things in it that felt (to me) less like they were in service to the story or characters or themes, and more about trying to get a reaction out of the audience. A lot of these moments ended up feeling a lot less meaningful than the 'darker' elements in BH/the manga as a result. Like, I think the way this final episode brings up Nina is an excellent showcase of how meaningful what happened to her is. This isn't the first time it's been brought up either: far from it. Since episode four it has been a consistent thing Ed and Al have thought and talked about, something that continues to haunt them. Whether in dreams, or when Ed was in Gluttony's stomach, and many other moments. Even though Nina was only in one episode, her loss is something that is felt consistently throughout the show, to both the audience and characters. I think that kind of thing is something that BH and the manga excells at when it comes to the 'darker' themes it covers. In my opinion, the 03 version doesn't do this sort of thing nearly as well, and it ends up effecting the lasting impact of these 'darker' story aspects. Again, that's just how I feel about it though. It's subjective which works better for you.

The look of realization as the photo of the kids zoomed out, and you find out that it was Ed and Winry, holding their children. Your two faces went from, 🥲 to 🤯

TheBruce
